Clips from the two final matches of the 2003/04 season. Martin Rowlands scored the only goal against Swindon at Loftus Road. One goal each from Kevin Gallen and Paul Furlong against Sheffield Wednesday. At the end, clips from that epic bus celebration in Shepherds Bush. Come on you Rssss!

Les Ferdinand show. My first trip to Loftus Road actually watching Rangers scoring goals - from lower loft. Fantastic memories.

February 23, 1991. Roy Wegerle returned from injury and made an immediate impact. This win against Southampton started a run that took us from 18th to 9th in the first division.

Gifted first goal for Canaries.
Add to stand all match in stocking feet as the London coppers made us remove our reinforced shoes. Bastards.😂
How fid that get through the wall? Well, one defender turns away from the ball and the other steps aside to let it through. Brave defending
I was kicked out of this game early on... police grabbed whoever they could as some trouble broke out in the East Paddock - so never saw any of the game really and was not involved at all oh well
Lucky Leeds. They'd have been 2-0 down but for that dodgy offside decision.
Sir Lesley Ferdinand. I went to the same school as him and denise wise.
Never had a penalty been missed but the BBC almost did.😮
The rythim and difficulty of skills executed considering the ball, clothes and shoes were heavier, makes clear that this intensity is comparable to mordern football and is a falacy assume that, today's team would easily beag any team from this time. I believe that other viewers would agree with me, although I born in this modern era, is clear for me that before were not a bunch of weak skinny dudes trying to kick a ball and walking on the field.
2 legends RIP Mr Wilkins and Mr Mcdonald
Just could not get home in any trophy - heartbreaking
Impey had a great game!
The good ole days. Proper footballers, kits, commentary.
While they are not my team, QPR have always been a good team, in the sense that they have never been below the Premiere or first divisions. They went to Europe once, and only lost by the extra goal, to AEK of Athens, in the 70's.
Your memory has let you down. It was the 70s.
Gordon Hill had yet to arrive to replace Tommy Jackson.
Then we beat them a few days later in the league by the same score
This match was covered by the second worst commentator in history. How Martin Tyler ended up on sky sports says all you need to know about sky sports! ALL he does is talk but he forgets to actually commentate on the game and players who are on the ball.
Goal of the season motd....... proper day out
The great Stan Bowles RIP 🙏
Dave Thomas was a genius on either wing, a quality which you rarely see nowadays.
The comeback was on as soon as Mackie replaced Barton, probably the only sane thing Hughes’s did during his tenure.
exquisite limbs
Greek people not very hospitable not a nice country....... compared to Turkey which has lovely people and so friendly ...Turkey rules ....greece is yuk .....not nice people.. Turkey and I love the Fenerbache people so partizan. Turkey is better people ..
A lot of AEK fans to the right of that goal.
F,kin awful pitch... No wonder they went plastic a few years later.
Was thinking about 1982.. how things were that year... Ossie Ardiles & Ricardo Villa.. 40+ years on & both sides still carrying wounds and scars.
You forget how many great nights, games, goals , occasions the old QPR gave us....like other comments on here, was at those games, particularly remember beating arsenal at home in night match...they were top team at time
What debut Frank Sheridan brilliant
Good day. Thank you so much for the video. like from country Azerbaijan
Ray Wilkins was class that day. From a Leeds fan who was there.
Clemence stuck on his line for QPR goal I'd be looking for a keeper to collect that
Mighty Rangers
The very unbiased Brian Moore not !
0:02 Look how much time and space the players have compared with now.
Roy Wegerle. There were some players back in the day. Wgat could they have been in this time
Bowles the sort of player missing these days. Pokey stadium at QPR.
We were robbed, the goalkeeper kept breaking the rules by coming off the line before the ball was kicked, he was warned but the ref gave up and let the keeper carry on, not good enough when the game is decided on penaltys.
One of the best footballing sides not to win the title ahead of there time football wise
It was a great team, indeed.
The Gods of Karma, Justice and Championship Scoreline Anomalies, let’s hoop the spirit of Billy O’ descends on the Burnley keeper at 3pm tomorrow. BUR: 0 QPR: 7 (Dykes2, Chair3, Sinclair1, Deing1). It’s the anaesthetic I think. #YOURs #QPRsoul #LGBTQPR+ ❤
Και μετά 3-0 στην Φιλαδέλφεια..μαυρος2 Παπαϊωάννου με φανταστική κεφαλιά..στα πέναλτυ πρόκριση η αεκ
my first match to with my dad god bless him😪 in the loft
What a legend Bowles is
best team in the country at that time. Sinton...what a legend
Great to see these two old foes fighting it out. They both had their glory years in the 1970s.
Nostalgia
Tommy Docherty actually had a very promising side here - real young talent in: Clive Allen, Paul Goddard, Chris Woods and Glenn Roeder. Plus some ot the old guard still there: Bowles, Shanks etc. Should have gone up with that side. But because they didn't, they were forced to sell their two brilliant new stars in Allen and Goddard. QPR got lucky that Venables came back soon after this - he literally saved the club from sinking.
That first Wegerle goal was right up there with Eddie Gray's second goal against Burnley in 1970.
Great goal by Stan Bowles, Football still misses Brian Moore. The Ultimate football anchorman.
Phil Nutt was a genius. Probably the best player ever to play for QPR.
