Possibly the new theme tune for University Challenge!
I've cheekily put Two Apiece's version of College Boy, the University Challenge theme tune, onto footage from the actual programme. More Two Apiece at twoapiece.co.uk.

🤩 wow
No thanks, let’s have the original one back
Amazing
Great arrangement and beautiful spirit!
Freddy would have loved it!
I did not expect to be shamed for my terrible violin playing
Now!
I like it.
you people sucks, because that piece was composed for other emotional porpuses, this is a joke
Does someone need a hug?
Juan Manuel Montes Jordán *purposes
Juan Manuel Montes Jordán also who’s to say the piece isn’t still emotional? Everyone knows the song I for one love classical music and the song itself so I enjoy this cover.
I don't disagree but this is perhaps a bit cruel. I felt the piece sacrificed expressiveness for control and precision in a way that betrays the intention of the composer. That doesn't mean this sucks or that it isn't technically impressive, or even that they aren't expressing emotion. It just means that the piece doesn't really lend itself to this instrumentation that well and perhaps in order to make it work you have to take a few more liberties and make it your own. @Terra_the_Nightingale I enjoy classical music too but this just kinda misses the point IMO, needs a total overhaul of arrangement. Violin needs to be more aggressive, guitar could do with more of the melody maybe. I feel tempted to have a go myself with my guitarist friend but that will have to wait till after this pandemic!!
Xatnu Rowan funnily enough I myself was asking my guitarist friend if we could try the piece like this. It doesn’t hold to the same level as the original of course and I can agree with your statements as you weren’t cruel but instead honest with yourself and your opinion about it. Perhaps certain parts of who plays what and the dynamics could be changed, I definitely agree with that. But overall I felt it still a good piece of music.

Amazing, you play so nice and kindly, i think Agustín Pío Barrios Mangoré would be very proud of you!!
Amazing!!!
The guitar drumming was very nice.
Awsome
Amazing work! Thank you so much for this.
what a beautiful rendition
Is the sheet music for sale? If so where can I buy it? Thanks.
@Two Apiece Hey there - would it be ok to use this in a video if I credit/hyperlink you guys?
Sure, no problem. Please send us a link to your video, also.
Exquisite, heart-touching violin and guitar performance of "Bohemian Rhapsody"! R-E-S-P-E-C-T
This is a marvelous and heartfelt interpretation. Great musicianship!
Anytime,anywhere,anyway,when I heard this song,tears out!
Honestly, one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard!
Slightly less arrogant and self-satisfied than the original version.
Wow 😭😭❤️ I love it
Are you the only ones to play Agustin Barrios on a violin ?? I'm sure that a lot of his music would sound beautiful on violin. I'm thinking about Vals N°3, Choro da Saudade, las Abejas, maybe others that I don't know.
Mais c'est merveilleux ce que vous faites !!
Hey guys great job! Love yours yorks! This is a version from Argentina czcams.com/video/cPcvnKwS4G4/video.html
I have listened to this more times times than I count. I try to play along with my violin but your perfection is far beyond my ability. The guitar and violin are extraordinarily beautiful played together.
Great cover for an extremely difficult piece of music!
I Like your music! Real like. Good luck to you !!!...
it would be better without the guitar but really nice job👍🏻
i dont think so, the guitar is the rhythm, is fundamental and it played very well
Very good and lovely !
The original, I think is a musical monstrosity, but this version I really like. Bravo!! (No lyrics, that helps..:)...)
Rob van Unnik - Amsterdam 2 years late but I for one love the original. I love the absolute insane amount of key changes and just overall stands out from other songs as it stands to be musically crazy and in theory at least for every other song, would sound terrible, but Queen managed to make it enjoyable and beautiful. As a kid I didn’t know this was an entire song. I thought the “I hear a little silhouetto of a man” was a different song. But hearing the song in simply classical form is absolutely beautiful
the bbc know how to ruin something that was already good. Doctor Who being another prime example
What do you mean?
¡Bravo!
