This is my final version of my homemade robot lawn mower, made from a Picaxe 20X2. Sorry, but I have no schematic on the electronic... I have just made it from my mind!

Now cutter motor is activated. Look at the cutted track after the robot at the lawn. The cutter wide is 22 cm, as it is for the Husqvarna Automower robot.

Hi,best way I found was to use a 12volt car wiper motor from EBay about £14 .Battery powered from an old 18volt drill battery pack.Connect by double pole rocker switch for in and out..Connect micro limit switches on live side for in and out and position at points you want it to stop.Found was able to wind in and out a large blind a least half dozen times before charging.Used battery pack as was convenient and safe in the garden......Hope this was of help......

@@scottvan1898 picaxe microcontroller. Says this in the description. But it doesn't matter what microcontroller he used at the end of the day since an arduino or w/e microcontroller you feel like or is cheapest is best. This is not much code anyways. Just get a $5 arduino nano off ebay that's fine.

My son is into robotics at a lower level and it is trying to make a science project for his final grade.. he thought about a robot lawn mower but he needs some help.. not sure how to do it.. is there any way you could assist with some guidance? it would be highly appreciate it.

Jeg er også ved at bygge en men mangler stadig en del stumper. Jeg har bygget en down-scale model som fungerer super godt. Men nu vil jeg bygge en jeg kan køre på :-) Min kører med en mbed som kontroller - den er ret let at kode og debugge synes jeg...
