My Toastmaster can opener also got very noisy, but it still opened cans just fine, so I went after mine trying to FIX it. Took it apart, just like Chris did, and hit all the gears with silicone lube. Still noisy. I listened closely and determined the noise was coming from what Chris called the spindle (next to the winding) Spraying silicone around the outside didn't get the noise, but spraying the inside of the shaft on the spindle FIXED the noise! (I didn't even need to remove it - just spray silicone using the little straw right next to the shaft on both sides.) Nice and quiet now - let's see how it is in 6 months.

New trees are needed for shading, I think it will keep the house cooler.

There is a very good chance it needed Dryloc Wet Wall Bonding Primer. Dryloc WILL NOT work on even damp walls. It must be TOTALLY dry or used the Wet Wall Bonder

Linux Mint is an excellent distro. I just switched from Windows 10 to Arch Linux and I'll never go back. All my Steam games work and so far I am loving it!

Easy fix.. put windows 10 on it. Windows 11 needs specific hardware compatibility does it have TPM and Secure boot enabled in Bios if not enable that and see if it will work. How you got Windows 11 on a 64 GB storage is crazy. It eats up close to 30 GB alone so you will be out of space in no time.. Just use Windows 10 till October 2025 and you can think of some plan for this unit.
