Basing Parappa's entire Square button on just the first stage of the first game, and the triangle button on the skateboard (I don't know what game that came from, I think it's just from the anime) feels like a missed opportunity to me. Like, we just scratched the surface. First game had karate, driving, selling stuff, baking, the bathroom thing, and the club. Admittedly, this isn't much fighty stuff to work with (aside from running everyone over with the car as a level 2 super), but still, Phoenix Wright yelling Spiderman to death in UMVC3. Anything goes. 2 had burgers, romantic karate (making out with someone during a fight would definitely be... unique. But if he got away with it the first time...), big, army training, the salon, the game, noodles, and the club. Lammy has good material to work with. dream, fire, lullaby, plane, tree, hell/tropical island, and concert. - punch and kick with karate - run someone over with a car (or fly off to Jupiter then crash back to Earth with it like the cutscene for stage 3) - actually rapping the enemies to death (if Phoenix Wright can 'objection' the hulk to death, we can pull this off) - floor sweeping from the burgers rap - tangoing (and then face planting because that'd be hilarious) - throwing cake and ice cream at people - roller blade rush and biking - fire hose - chainsaw - whatever the heck that wood block instrument they're using in Um Jammer Lammy was Also the MAWLR in this stage should've gotten destroyed by either General Potter or Colonel Noodles as everything devolves into the noodle wars, that'd make the transition make more sense and be absolutely hilarious as cakes and noodles fly everywhere.
