Back to the Range with the CMMG 22lr Conversion Kit (night vision shooting)! Blooper at the end.
zhlédnutí 452Před 3 lety
first time out with the cmmg 22lr conversion kit. It went great, ZERO problems in the first 250 rounds. I should get back to making videos more regularly because I can afford to go the range again. I apologize for limited footage, still trying to figure out how to film night vision.

Palmetto State Armory Initial Impressions

Initials impressions of Cass' PSA build from a few days ago. Seems like its good to go for me, but we are only 100 rounds in at this point. In my opinion PSA has gone way up with QC in the last few years. I believe that this is going to serve its purpose extremely well.

AR Pistol is Fixed!
zhlédnutí 88Před 4 lety
My buddy helped me out and did some pretty significant modifications to cut down the handguard so I can mount my suppressor. I think the AR pistol is done now. Not a whole lot else I would want to do to it. Thanks for watching.

AR Pistol Update (apparently I can't measure correctly)
zhlédnutí 245Před 4 lety
Just finished my AR pistol upper build. Took a few weeks to get the refund and all my new parts shipped. Got it put together today, and ran into an issue...I thought a 10.5 inch barrel and a 10 inch handguard would give me enough clearance to mount my suppressor...it does not. Help.
Bergara BXR Carbon Part III 1,000 rounds in.
zhlédnutí 16KPřed 4 lety
Hit 1k rounds the other day. So far so good. The feeding issue was magazine related. With a ruger brand mag i had 1 double feed in 325 rounds.
Security Contracting During the Protests

Howard Leight Impact Sport VS Walker Razor Digital Hearing Protection
zhlédnutí 2,6KPřed 4 lety
Comparing the Impact Sports and the Razor Digital electronic ear muffs. Both are great, I think Id recommend the Howard Leight muffs over the Walkers. The price is relatively similar, but the Razor Digital muffs cut out everything when you are exposed to a loud noise.
T. Rex Arms Ragnarok Holster Initial Impression
zhlédnutí 742Před 4 lety
Initial impressions of the Ragnarok holster from Trex Arms. Holster seems solid, need some more time with it before I let ya know its good to go. I have high hopes for it and I dont think ill have any problems if its like any other product from them. Give them some consideration if you are looking for a holster. Just about everything is made in house and to order by them.

Just wanted to say Rudy has made me 2 different model shoulder holsters, and both arrived within 3 months. The quality was very good. They were both heavier leather than my Galco and were certainly worth the money.
any issues with the Rauch cover??
The vault is polyethylene, made in mexico, water resistant, weaker hinge system, 3 year warranty. the 1170 is the harder polypropylene, made in usa, lifetime warranty, waterproof, higher end.
EXCELLENT review! Thinking about a Thunder Chicken for my Q Sugar Weasel, 16", 5.56, which has the Cherry Bomb as standard equipment.
Good assessment. Work on not smacking your lips every sentence. It’s distracting. No offense.
I’m in between these 2 cases. What I don’t understand is why the Vault only has 3 year warranty and the older 1170 is lifetime. Would like to understand why.
The classic pelican is more expensive and better made.
Actually they were developed for motorcycle, trail bike and other types of cycling activities. Pipe hitters just loved the knuckles at first sight
Great video. Helped me decide.
Very helpful video, thank you!
Hey, make sure to keep your seals flat they have memory keep that in mind. And in the little pouch right under the front panel if you open it up and really look the is a bigger pouch that is sealed of by velcro and you can open that up and store stuff for example I store splints in there.
dec 2022 federal auto match 325rds has doubled 😭35$ a box
Please, for your patients sake, go get some advanced training. At least review the training you've already done
What kind of brace you run?
As a medic, this is a phenomenal kit. Do you carry a SAM Splint?
Thats funny. I found out that expensive medical equipment tend to grow legs and walk away. Someone walked away with my Littmann Master Cardiology Stethoscope before. $300 grew legs. I agree buying cheaper stuff can work. as long as it does not compromise patient care.
I called for an ambulance and it took them at least 20-30 minutes to arrive. Luckily I had Quikclot and I was able to stop the major bleeding by the time the ambulance got to me. the paramedics and even the ER doc was surprised. they never heard of Quikclot before. they were amazed how fast I got the bleeding stopped. if it was not for Quikclot, I wouldn't be here today to personally attest to how important it is to have a hemostatic agent. whether it is celox or quikclot.
I can attest to quikclot. it saved my life. I loss my balance and ended up and hit my head on a wall and cracked open my head.
Don’t think you’re supposed to be shooting Stingers in the BXR.
BUYER BEWARE.....I have the exact same rifle....have tried thousands of rounds of subsonic ammo from Aguila, Eley, CCI, Norma, Selliers & Belloit, Wolf, and SK.....none of them shot consistently close to MOA at 50 yards....I called Bergara and was informed by the customer service manager that they don't guarantee anything under 2.5 MOA at 50 yards......WHY is that fact not stated in their sales literature. ....I also have a CZ 457 that shoots sub MOA with a few of the ammos I tried in the Bergara...
Thanks for the review !
You’d be surprised how few people consider washing their ghillie suit
I’m doing it tmo
I just bought this rifle a few days ago and shot it for the first time yesterday. I had about 4 stoppages in the first magazine, and was getting ready to be disappointed. But after that first mag, I went through the rest of my ammo-nearly 200 more rounds-without a single hiccup. I only had a 25-yard range available to me yesterday, but I can tell you that from that distance at least, this thing is a tack driver.
What ammo did you use? I just bough one and it’s been jamming every shots for me.
@@albertpui2567- I use CCI Mini-Mag almost exclusively.
Thanks 4 sharing.
I switched to Ruger mags and it improved feeding quite a bit but I get get more jams than I'd like. I find the Ruger mag once seated can still be angled and adjusted slightly and I need to take a moment to seat it just right. Not sure where to go from here. Otherwise it is a wonderfully accurate semi-auto .22
I have one of these, love it, noticed that the bergara mag didn't drop out freely, tried my ruger mags and they work great, have a Bushnell Match Pro 6×24 scope on it, use it for 25yd target shooting, no malfunctions, nice trigger, lots of fun, very accurate. Use CCI standard velocity ammo, can hit 2 inch plate at 200 yards all day long
Over 42k rounds through mine. Barrel still looks the same. Been through 17-18 magazines. To be fair only half of them feed decent. Replaced bolt guide spring twice, pin spring once, and the back white cross pin 4-5 times as its very easy to screw up taking it in and out. The bolt itself is bear of the titanium nitride coating except for a strip on the top. The original stock has these little paint spots well all areas where you hold it were bare of them within a few months. Lastly I dropped the gun and broke the stock last year and Bergara was more than willing to ship me a replacement under warranty. I would say its a great gun. Just got the b14r carbon left hand in November and I know there is a $350 price difference between the two but this one is way more fun to shoot and not picky what I shoot. Only have 5k-5.5k round through it right now but imo this one just crushes the BXR. It is a few lbs heavier for anyone curious. With cheap CCI standard i am getting 0.8moa average vs the BXR with 1.7moa average. Neither of these guns like high velocity ammo btw. Nothing light and nothing over 1100fps for any groups. They like sk riflematch. Just wish it was not so waxy. Of course the expensive Eley Tenex groups the best but after a few boxes.i could have bought bricks of CCI standard.
Super cool video, although the audio was a bit too low at the start but overall great!
I have a feeling he will get a pile of business from me this year
Got a Texas ranger rig for my Glock 19. I’m so anxious to get it. Rudy is an awesome man to deal with.
Hi Dave. Is there such a thing as a DIS honest Asian?
What happened to this channel? I just stumbled across it today? It seems like quality content
I had Hornady 150 SST shot good at 50 yd, but at 100 all would be at 1100 and 4” from center. Ugh
it should also be noted that suppressor wraps can lead to premature failure, due to the fact that they hold the heat in. titanium starts to weaken at about 850-900 degrees.
Any update on the olight?
During your early use of this Bergara BXR, did you ever experience the bolt sticking?
...I only shoot @100 yards and both my TC R55 and 10/22 target tactical group better with the ammo I've tested (low to mid price; CCI, Eley Geco, SK, RWS, Fiochhi) , the worst being 2.5" and the best 3/4" without cycling issues..I'd be a little disappointed with these results...
Well done. I love my Thunder Chicken.
I own one of these and I regret it. I've replaced the magazines with ruger 10/22 magazines which fixed the feeding issues. I replaced the bolt, buffer and take down pins with a nice KIDD kit which helped a bit. I might replace the trigger. If you're looking for a semi-auto rimfire, I'd recommend the Savage A17. 17HMR is way more fun that 22LR and that gun is super accurate.
Dave, curious on what rings you have and there height. They look like med? I have a gen 1 pst going on this gun when it comes in and with the 30 Moa cant on the base I’m not sure what ring height to order.
Brother! Isn't the IFAK II better than nothing?
How did he clear his garment if he was carrying appendix? Sounds like your friend may have been fibbing a lil bit
Great training !
Nice rig. You can't carry too many tourniquets.
How do you wash them?
I woukd add a laser cartridge at least to what you are doing. There are also a few timers out there that will hear your trigger pull or hammer drop for an actual time.
Can you send me a bag like this please
well done doc.
Do you need to cut the foam out?
Thank you for the concise review Dave! I'm receiving mine in the mail today I can't wait to hit the range tomorrow! I got the mid-ride and qls system BTW
I’ve had a fare share of failures, feeding on the first and second round using a Ruger BX-25 Magazine seems to be consistently an issue. I’ve run roughly 600 rounds through it without cleaning it though. I think if anything though this rifle is a picky eater, CCI Mini-Mags, & Velocitors seem to work. Hoping another 400 rounds and some good cleaning/oil improves reliability. I’ve heard the BX-15 works. It’s a picky eater.
