What you called the transitioner/terminator color is actually the subsurface scattering. Its when light enters the object and reflects back out, usually resulting in a faint glow where shadow begins. You see this effect in real life when you hold your fingers to a light source, they glow red on the edges

I look forward to more awesome content from you, you’re such an underrated artist :) I’ve also noticed, throughout the video, that Yueko uses softer, pastel colours for the face. The way she draws attention to the faces in her art is amazing! There’s so much loose texture and flow to the surrounding areas and parts of her art - This makes her art look so detailed yet free! She uses these few components so well, and her compositions always look astounding! I think her art is kinda of expressionistic as well (don’t know if that’s the right word to use 😭). You can make out so much without there being any clear lines or border. The shapes and edges of her ‘blobs’ of colour convey all that you need to see to make out a beautiful piece. That’s just my interpretation, but it’s really amazing to see the different work flows of different artists :) Your recreations were amazing! I really love your use of texture, and you honestly did everything really well ! Thank you for including the brushes for free too, I’ll definitely have to use them for my study! 👀

I used to do big blob of blacks to "carve" the body for years. no longer does it for now because my body become too fat around the limbs. I want to do it and try again.

Really nice video, It helps me a lot with my art studies! :D Unfortunately, the brush set doesn't seem to work in krita (probably bc it can't read the file type). Do you, per chance, have a zip file/a different file type of the brushes? (Files of .bundle type seem to be working for example, tho im no expert in such things)

I use AI art as references not for the drawing or rendering techniques, but for the color palettes and how to arrange them. While some times I don't use references for draw something that I already have a good idea in my mind
