Do *THIS* to Paint Like Yueko - Instantly Transform Your Art!
The first 500 people to use my link will get a 1 month free trial of Skillshare skl.sh/kraymerart06241
I analyzed and studied Yueko's artworks in order to discover what she does to create such beautiful paintings. I did two copy studies of Yueko's artworks in order to implement the art lessons I learned, and also learned more tips along the way. The process in this video should hopefully not only teach you how to paint more like Yueko, but also how to paint better in general. Furthermore, this video should show the general process you can take to learn to paint like your favorite artists.
The brushes as promised! :

Honestly feels pretty surreal to be sponsored by Skillshare after watching so, so many CZcamsrs with Skillshare sponsorships. It doesn't feel like long ago when I had 0 subs and I was doing everything I could to grow my channel. Thank you guys for all the support, it truly means a lot to me. I never would have gotten this far without each and every one of you.

Somehow I spent almost 3 months just to make this one video… Anyways, in this video, I’ll be going over a little art challenge I devised for myself in order to see whether or not I could learn the painterly style that many professional artists such as nixeu, wlop, samdoesart, etc have. And whether or not I could incorporate them into my own artworks. I painted every day for 5 days in order to s...

Full real-time study video (I unlisted it from my channel so only available here!): czcams.com/video/kfl...

Hi
what app does he use ?
Procreate
Thank you so much
I just have a question, should I turn off pen pressure when doing this?
i think it would be better to keep pen pressure on so you can practice pressure opacity
@@KraymerArt Thank you.
Easy EASY?! HOW?!
Cool!!!
I don’t know why my site doesn’t load, maybe because it only loads in China,But it's sad 😢
I know this video is a few months old do you know any anime eye tutorials, or could I request you make one ?
Thankyou soooo much for this tutorial, I've tried so much tutorials and this worked best for me❤
How do i watch the original video....i dont understand Chinese 😔
finally something simple and straightforward
Hamzah sounding exactly like Kermit in the beginning was not what I expected
Is the 1. Step really multiply blending mode? Normally multiply causes a darker shade
OMG BM❤❤
This might be the most useful art tutorial I've seen on YT, good job and thank you so much, it will help me a lot.
I think the best way to explain her art is "abstraction" or something whatever ;3
Me on ibispaint being confused sigh..
The fact that kooleen was there is a sin (good artist, but...)
"I translated the gist of this video from China to english and have brushes you can download for free so you can follow along too!" Not all heroes wear capes 🙌
I was silently crying to myself as I watched the ear be coloured in as hair- the sigh of relief I had when you coloured it properly, haha
If you see this comment, please reply in 3 months. I'm busy right now, and can't practice this, but very interested.
Your voice is so soothing and easy to listen to! I think I learned I lot from this study video!! Thank you so much and keep up the good work!🤩
What you called the transitioner/terminator color is actually the subsurface scattering. Its when light enters the object and reflects back out, usually resulting in a faint glow where shadow begins. You see this effect in real life when you hold your fingers to a light source, they glow red on the edges
I’m actually doing a study on the first artwork you showed (out of the two you said you would be studying and recreating in the video) And I’m really excited to see how yours turns out! :) Thank you so much for this video, I’m really enjoying the simplicity of your explanations so far and I’m so happy I found your channel today! I look forward to more awesome content from you, you’re such an underrated artist :) I’ve also noticed, throughout the video, that Yueko uses softer, pastel colours for the face. The way she draws attention to the faces in her art is amazing! There’s so much loose texture and flow to the surrounding areas and parts of her art - This makes her art look so detailed yet free! She uses these few components so well, and her compositions always look astounding! I think her art is kinda of expressionistic as well (don’t know if that’s the right word to use 😭). You can make out so much without there being any clear lines or border. The shapes and edges of her ‘blobs’ of colour convey all that you need to see to make out a beautiful piece. That’s just my interpretation, but it’s really amazing to see the different work flows of different artists :) Your recreations were amazing! I really love your use of texture, and you honestly did everything really well ! Thank you for including the brushes for free too, I’ll definitely have to use them for my study! 👀
I wanna ask something.. do you use blending mode on some layers or did you go by normal layers?
I only used blend modes for slight colour adjustments, but for the most part I just used normal layers
@KraymerArt Got it, Thanks!!
Wait what brush was used for the line art? 😭
I used to do big blob of blacks to "carve" the body for years. no longer does it for now because my body become too fat around the limbs. I want to do it and try again.
Really nice video, It helps me a lot with my art studies! :D Unfortunately, the brush set doesn't seem to work in krita (probably bc it can't read the file type). Do you, per chance, have a zip file/a different file type of the brushes? (Files of .bundle type seem to be working for example, tho im no expert in such things)
Thank you for the kind words! and I just did some research, and unfortunately, I don't think there's anyway to get Procreate brushes working with krita :(
thank you so much for the free brushes
Ty sm for the video and the brushes seriously 🥹
dosent work on white hair
I use AI art as references not for the drawing or rendering techniques, but for the color palettes and how to arrange them. While some times I don't use references for draw something that I already have a good idea in my mind
Hey amazing video! I could follow everything except the "paint it in" at 6:00 could someone sxplain how exactly it's painted in?
This is amazing
Thanks for the video! I really enjoyed it! Very helpful and encouraging.
thank you for the kind words!
very nice study video man, you really put a lot into it🔥. I wonder if you can do an analysis on QUASARCAKE 🥰
I've actually never heard of that artist before, but i'll check them out!
Best tutorial video on the internet. Directly to the point. I love it so much ❤
thanks a lot for your study videos! They are simple yet informative, and you always explain WHY you are doing something and how to do it. Honestly not many CZcams videos help my art, but yours always do. My art has actually improved so much due to your help.
Thank you! I'm glad they've helped
Great video, thanks!
That's Hanacue!
Me naively thinking that I’ll be able to do this on IbisPaint because I can’t be bothered to download Clip Studio:
OMG XHS MY BELOVED
Highlights in shadow area?
yea in the full video he says its "just anime things" and "if it looks good it works"
I fixed my brush problem but now I can’t zoom in every time I try it undoes my progress.Any tips on how I could fix this?
Thank you 💗💗
Sooo helpful thank you. Can definitely tell I’m going to have to refer back to this.
I saw an artist try different country eye styles and the Chinese one was the most attractive/eye catching (no pun intended)
