They're using androids to do the job of ROBOTS. 🤖 🤦 You might not realize how STUPID that is, so I'll explain. The "Kuka" brand robot you're seeing here is overly complex because it's designed to be "flexible". It can be programmed to do just about anything. But it's expensive because it's so complex. A true ROBOT 🤖 is not flexible at all. They're designed for a single task, done very quickly and efficiently. There inexpensive and usually purely mechanical, so no programming is needed. I want to make my own company and FORCE the US government to pay me. 🤑 I don't see why a "Wall Building Robot" can't be made. You put lumber and nails in one end and a completed wall comes out on the other. You can use the sawdust to create other custom products that go into that home. Nothing goes to waste. Now we need a foundation building robot that sets the foundations with laser accuracy. The foundation is the most important part of a structure. The walls can be pre-fitted with wiring, conduits, and plumbing at this factory. Here's the best part; I would hire young people and the homeless that just want to gain the skills and build a home for themselves. I would expect a LOT of turnover, but that's actually a good thing as this is meant to be a stepping stone, not a permanent job.

Keep the Alpine saw, two man crews after that, seem faster than this thing and it needs a human to step in regardless. I don't see the upfront benefit of the cost plus maintenance of a machine like this.
