As per the latest mail by flipkart to the sellers which says " Dear Seller,
This message is to inform you about a critical update regarding our new Video Management System (VMS).
Effective July 20th, 2024, VMS adoption will become mandatory to maintain eligibility for SPF.
What is VMS & what do you Get?
VMS allows you to install cameras at your packing station and helps you with:
Lesser Returns: Securely pack under camera to reduce returns and save time and costs.
More SPF : Gain video evidence for dispute resolution
Better Tracking: Enhance visibility into the fulfillment process
What do we assure?
No misshipment return would be accepted without checking packaging video
Favorable SPF outcomes for the cases where you have packed correctly under camera
Misshipment returns will be accepted only if VMS Video doesn’t prove right packaging
What to do:
1. Install cameras (USB preferred) meeting minimum specifications:

(Camera resolution: FHD(1920X1080), Video Coding: MJPEG YUY2, Mega Pixel: 2.1 and above, Connection: Wired, Shooting angle: Pan & Tilt, Compatible OS Requirement: Windows 7 and above, ChromeBook, and Ubuntu)
2. Read the onboarding manual (attached PDFs).
3. Contact FKVMS_Support@flipkart.com for credentials and onboarding if you have compatible cameras.
4. Start packing all shipments under camera
VMS adoption is crucial to safeguard your SPF eligibility and enhance your overall fulfillment operations. We encourage you to take action before July 20th, 2024.
