Not sure i agree. For one on one, or small groups found the zoom sessions were very much teaching. I am not good at presenting, unless it is formal and rehearsed, as at a conference. I understand what you are getting at, but i think that may have more to do with the need to fill empty space, rather than any specific pedagogy. I could sit in silence written a raised eyebrow, waiting for a student to come up with a response, just as easily on line as in face to face. I wonder whether it has to do with tone. 😊
