The EF1 Tornado in Dublin, New Hampshire - Full Close Range Chase Video
Video in order of events of the tornado chase and close range tornado intercept in Dublin, New Hampshire, on 6-23-2024. Positioning in front of the storm allowed us a chance to stay with this rare long lived supercell before it began producing an EF1 tornado. We filmed the tornado with the drone and allowed the weaker tornado to get close, before continuing to follow the storm into Maine and watch it move into the Gulf of Maine.
The storm was not tornado-warned when we first spotted the tornado, which we promptly reported to the National Weather Service on both Spotternetwork and Twitter with confirmation video. The storm was re-warned for a tornado and after not being officially recorded as a tornado report at first by the SPC, a followup survey the next day by the National Weather Service confirmed the EF1 tornado, stating "NWS storm survey confirmed an EF1 tornado with a maximum wind speed of 90 mph occurred in Dublin ... NH on June 23rd. The tornado downed 100 trees ... caused minor damage"
Only a couple of weaker and/or short lived tornadoes are reported each year in New Hampshire, and they are rarely filmed. The mountainous terrain and amount of trees makes for more difficult storm spotting.

Close range tornado east of Dublin, NH on 6-23-24. Officially rated EF-1. The terrain was incredibly difficult, however, the cell service was adequate which allowed me to stay in front of the storm for about an hour before it became tornado warned. Multi vortex is what i have seen on this video.
I remember when I was living in Cullman my late husband and I was working at the time and we got home safe while the tornado was on our tailgate, not to mention but hail storm no size of a softball in the year of 2017-2018
