I own the Rode PodMic, but Yeah, That Procaster sounds REALLY good... Now I do use a Rodecaster Pro 2 with my Podmic, and use some light processing on the sound profile, so Yeah, that's another alternative for a user who wants to increase or customize the quality of their overall sound... Great Review! Question: How do think a shot gun mic if set up correctly, can capture a few people sitting near each other...like in a side by side discussion setting?

Very interesting review... As a Rodecaster Pro 2 owner/user... RP2 is a DEFINITE UPGRADE from the O.G. model... Soooo expandable for multi use purposes and cases.... IJS .. On a Fair note, I'm not 100% happy with my RP2 for MY use case scenario, (CZcams music tutorials)... it's not horrible by any means, and there's soooo much internal processing power available, so yes, it could be user inefficiency... I don't like how my "music" recordings come out.. just very inconsistent... I do plan on getting a Digital mixboard for future recordings and interface purposes...and portable for Djing as well.... and I'll use the RP2 in conjunction with that as well in the event I start doing podcasts... I also plan on grabbing a Zoom H8 for mobile use as well... Thanks for sharing tho, and I'll be checking out more of your content #Salute

Most barber podcasts are annoying as hell, because it doesn't take long for them to mention their affiliate discount code, or share their exclusive one-time offer only on their overpriced products. This episode however was real and raw, especially when he talked about losing his family. This that real barbering content that is lacking from the social media space. Great video guys.

Completely agree - you can always replace your gear, but not the content that was captured. Have you ever considered posting a tutorial on setting up a podcast?

Initially, I enjoyed Instagram. Then they ruined it. Currently, I've moved to Vero!!! I enjoy sharing my Photoes and receiving constructive feedback. And yes, if needed, I'll pay for Vero without commercials!!!📸✨️👍🏿

I made the switch. Instagram started losing me about a year or two ago. Before that I used to love it. It was my social media of choice. But it's just not the same anymore.

Only big celebrities can make Vero more popular than Instagram and I don't see that happening even in the next 5, 10 years. The sad truth is since Instagram is a completely free platform they'll keep changing their stinkin algorithm as they please to piss people off. They're subliminally saying f what the users think.

Deffo agree... I've been using Vero for a short while (@jetblakink), and find it way more appealing that Insta. I haven't left insta, but no longer post there. In fact, even just seeing a random square image now, really puts me off. I think Insta abused us for so long forcing us into that square box, that I never want to post another square image in my life again! I love that I can upload vertical and horizontal images, and click on them to get the full screen. I love that I can upload a link to my CZcams videos on Vero, and have the whole video display right in the grid. I've even linked write-ups from my wordpress page, advertising my Zines, that you can purchase, and have it right there in the Vero grid. It's really cool...

I have a YT channel, so I am not in the least wanting to create "reels". Instagram I liked for my stills...but no longer, I'm at Vero now.

Instagram lost its identity 💯. They are followers now. People are leveraging seeking IG course services that do not work! We are lost in this platform swimming against the tide- aka ever changing algorithms. The reach does not produce any ROI for a creative or business owner. Videos do not allow for sharing of information. It’s become a look-n-next kind of an app.

True, but if you look in retrospect, Meta has not been innovative in years. Ever since they bought Whatsapp and Instagram, it was because they couldn't outperform those apps, BUT they had the money. Zuckerberg might end up buying Vero.

When they say, "create better content," they mean, "make more engaging content." It is that simple. Focus on learning what that means, and how to do it, and you'll do well.

That is the problem when you're always trying to modify the system to get MORE. More Users, To See more ads and collect more data. It's never ending. The service just becomes a tool to accomplish that goal. And they don't care if they have to turn it inside out to pull it off. Which is why many of their (Meta) apps/services have become 10 headed beasts that provide an overwhelming experience for the average user, because they are always trying to be everything for everyone, when maybe I just wanted pictures today.... the algorithms, targeted ads, suggested posts (flooding my TL) have become so heavy handed that their constant aggressive manipulation trying to funnel you in different directions makes me want to close out the app. As I have done for a while now.

According to Meta: Please leave photography and start film making. World doesn’t need photographers anymore.
