Thank you for the video!
I found an easy way to protect the bezel is to just use a hose clamp around where you're prying against. Worked well for me.
That's a great idea. Good to get this sort of feedback. Hope you found the rest of the video helpful. Cheers
@@garagedad6926 I meant to say that, yes I appreciate you taking the time to help others.
@@bb8215 No problems. We are all here to help each other. All the best.
Do you ever see the rubber trim rings for the tach and speedo around down under ? Im in USA and cant find any here . I have a 69 dt1b that I have owned since new and the only things missing is the rings . Thanks Gary
Hi Gary, I haven't so far. If I do, I will let you know. Hope you enjoyed the video. Cheers
Brilliantly described. This man needs to go into business restoring speedos 👍🏻
Thanks mate. I have a few to do. They seem to be breeding the storage boxes.
Nice!
Cheers
Good video, I hope you make some more. I’ve just bought a dt250 for restoration but have never done one before so this sort of guidance is invaluable
Thanks for this positive comment. Plan to do some more. Just in the middle of reorganizing my garage as I have 5 DT250 projects on the go. Sourcing and buying parts is taking up a bit of time. I'm in Melbourne Australia. Where are you. Cheers
