This pair of idiots can't speak Indonesian and are typical millennial tourists with no idea. We won't waste our time with it (they at least got a click out of us) but he immediately comes up with "here is an exposed area for sunlight", when what he really should be saying is tonnes of unstoppable mosquitos and the odd poisonous snake. Note also these geniuses don't actually tell you where precisely these places are. So what's the point? You could go to any country town in whatever country and get cheap rent.

Bali is Paradise Lost. Too much traffic, poor infrastructure, influx of rude tourists, pollution, etc. it was great up until around 2015. The island is sinking under too many villas.

I can tell you are quality oriented, and work hard at having a professional presentation in everything you do. Maybe the subtle bottom line to that "highest quality" approach is the pressure to bring the desired/necessary ROI to be able to continue your preferred standards, (ie - "Producing an excellent vlog in an exotic location doesn't bring in the money we need.")

Nothing to do with our beautiful Bali! That’s what happens when you move to anew place different cultures etc.!

Balis a total shithole. The only nice place is Nusa Dua and even then you see poor workers everywhere. Slums everywhere, suffering around. Not a decent place to live at all.

I don't think Bali is the right place to attempt what you guys have tried to do. For me personally, it's more geared towards end of career and going into a retirement phase.
