MARIMBAFEST 2023 was the biggest marimba event of its kind in the southern hemisphere - a 7-day hybrid solo and ensemble competition with 15 hours of masterclasses and other activities for both in-person and online percussionists all over the world on the one stage. The Marimbafest team once again broke many records for 2023, with 52 in-person and online participants participating live during the week, the return of in-person overseas visitors and over $15,000 of prizes and gifts given away to the lucky participants.
MARIMBAFEST 2023 was presented by Marimbafest Australia in conjunction with the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.

      For real not to be a hater but his tempo way to slow piece is at 176 not 100 a bunch of wrong notes he was slowing down and speeding up in different sections I understand if this was new to him or if he was sight reading in this circumstances that’s very good but if he’s had weeks to prepare it’s quite bas

      Well, before you start hating on the girl (if that's who you are referring to) she had to play the whole song by herself on an instrument that is pretty long. She also had to hold two of the sticks on both hands (total of 4). I would say that is pretty hard. If you are referring to the man, sorry for making you read all this!
