Here I'll run a conventional engine, a Lion Chief locomotive and a TMCC engine all at the same time. The Lion Chief and the TMCC engines are both on the inner loop.
tweeking again, test ride.

NW-2 switcher and caboose

First run session of the NW-2 switcher and matching caboose. The LIONEL service center made the repair and got it back to me very quickly. You will also see the first transit of the new tunnel! Once it is complete, I'll do a video just on it.

Very well done, sir! 👏 I live in the Pensacola area and I am interested...👍😎
AWESOME! I am retired so, anytime you would like to come have a look at it will be fine. It's a very nice trike and has served me very well.
Any questions, feel free to ask!
Larry, it will be interesting to see how your idea works out. In my experience, anything on the floor of the velo soon becomes completely soaked in sweat. I have drilled additional holes in the floor of my WAW to let the accumulated puddles of sweat drain out, but that still does not keep anything on the floor from being soaked.
Hey Larry, you're welcome. A velomobile is a fun and nice hobby to have :). You know, this idea is actually a good one I think. Thanks for sharing. Especially in the back. In there I store a spare tire and inner tube, bicycle pump and a plastic bag with wrenches, Allan keys, trie wraps and a small pump to pump the air bellows. Most of the time all of that lays on top of a blanket on which a can tip over my velomobile when I need to repair a flat tire on the side of the road. But somehow, hitting speed bumps a bit too hard, sends the bag full of tools up into the air, rattling inside of the trunk :).I guess I am still young and naive enough to do so. A floor mat would help dampend it I guess for the places the blanket does not cover it hahahaha. That exact material you are using for it is also available in European stores. I seen it in the cheapest store there is too.
Very nice. Welcome to the wonderful world of velomobiles.
Thank you!
As I remember, the Soap Box Derby people frond on street use.
Ahh, but soap box derby cars weren't pedal powered!😅
I like the graphics. 👍 nice. Just be careful around horses they can be dangerous when you drive next to them. Dogs are in general ok with those things. Just a bit nervous. Curious if you really are going to use the fender well mount. I actually had a mount for my phone onto it for a while but it was a hassle to mount my phone in it. Now I have it in those compartments on the left or the right. I just put a towel in those places to protect it a little. I find that a gps can be mounted best on the middle of your steering wheel. Garmins come with a mount that you can attach with some kind of rubber bands they provide with it. Good to see you riding around. Looks like a nice place to drive 💪
Thank you, Jules! I agree, the phone position is going to be less than optimal, but I want to use the screen for the radar display. at present, I have my GPS mounted to the center on the steering bar as you have suggested. I may also get a mount like the one I have for the radar that will mount the GPS to the inside of the coaming. We shall see how/if that works out; not very expensive so it will be worth experimenting. The horses never came too close, but they were curious. Dogs just don't know what to think! Today was my longest ride and I had so many people stop me to ask questions, most had never even heard of a velomobile before. Doing my part to spread the word!!
Hey Larry , that’s an awesome paint job. It looks brand new and you even have both hoods! You are going to enjoy it. Glad you’ve finally obtained it! Have fun🎉.
Thank you, Jules! I am loving it! It now has new graphics on the side that I think look awesome. Going to get another video up soon, showing the mods I've already made. How are the new tires working out for you?
Trim your nosehair if your gonna make us look up your nostrils
aerodynamics is a wonderful thing, I wonder if this could be categorized as an eccentric bike , which are big in Belgium , which of course is next to the only flat country where this bike would thrive, or be imagined, the Netherlands. The thing is a more than too specialized for me, but I like it, without the planned look at me graphics. Nobody cares, keep the clean visual lines.
It needs a motor.🇺🇸😎
I'm the only motor it needs!
Wow that is one awesome quad bike! I don't ride, but my lady is quite a rider, and based on her experience it looks like on the road flat tire repair could be an involved process. We live in a hot climate here in inland Nor Cal, and unless those two footwell holes flow more air than they look like they could it seems like it would get very hot in there. Anyway, super awesome machine, hope you get lots of fun miles in it!
Thanks for taking a look. Flat repair is actually easier than it looks. Air flow is decent, but it still gets hot.
Brilliant... You'll have fun...no matter what.😂
Audi is a struggling POS car company that quit producing good vehicles in the 80's ...all the newer ones are over moduled computers on 4 wheels
As are every other car on the planet....
You could add a predator 212 motor in that
Yes, you could, but I don't see a need for a motor. It pedals really well.
Awesome introduction. Such a cool Velo. I’ve been looking at Velos for a couple of years. Trying to learn more about them. So first question. I always see those two big holes in the floor of Velos. Is that for air flow? Do they make covers for the winter or do your heals need that added space. You mentioned the radar. What is that? Like a rear sensor?
Yes, those holes are foot wells. Backing up is "Fred Flintstone" style, but they do provide airflow. The Quattro Velo does have an access hatch cover that closes those holes for winter driving. The radar I mentioned is a Bryton Gardia 300 that detects cars at about 150 meters and sends an alert to my GPS unit. It also has a flashing taillight. When a car gets to a certain range, it changes the flash pattern, and it can detect when I decelerate and turns the light solid. It's a nice unit.
@@Bigboy4018 Thank you for all of that.
Blaze looks great at his new home! Congrats.
Thank you sir!
That’s a cool looking ride! Congrats!
Thank you!
I have 4 trains running, same tracks, 2 on upper and 2 on lower tracks, all in conventional mode. Balance speed of engines with number of cars behind each that it’s pulling. Double headed dual motor engines pull more cars. While engines with less motors pull fewer cars. I’ve had as many as 9 motors in engines on same track running together.😅 like your layout.
Wow, 4 at once must be "entertaining "! Thanks for having a look at my layout. If you go through the other videos, you'll see the layout at various stages of completion.
My friend with an electrical background advised me the KW for a single loop has more power than ZW has for any one of it’s individual throttle lever power sections. I have both ZW & KW and they both handle 8 motors on one power section without breaker opening. Nine motors has opened the breaker on the ZW. I have not tried multiple engines with dual motors on different loops hooked to same transformer. My transformers are each only one loop each plus a section for turn out switches. My bet would be this is drawing a lot of amps with all post war engines.
Wowsers!
Thank you!
Just found your channel. Awesome trio!
Thank you!
great upgrades nice job
Thank you!
Gremlins like that can just about drive one to drinking. At least you’re able to run your older stuff and you also get to use that KW.
Right on both counts! Get to play electrician again today, got to replace a defective reverse unit with a new electronic one.
It works well having the camera there as opposed to helmet. I have a Ram motorcycle mount on the front of my trike, which I mount the camera to. Not sure if you meant to shoot in 9:16 as opposed to 16:9 which is standard tv screen aspect. That way you get landscape as opposed to portrait. Look forward to seeing more of your videos.
Thank you!
I've been adding a lot of street lights to my layout as well, they really add a lot to the vibe of the layout!
Totally agree.
Awesome update, love the low lighting you shoot in, really cool! Sub'd up! -Ken
Thank you, Ken.
Larry, thank you so much for participating in the Holiday Box Car Challenge. You put together two great trains of box cars and I am very appreciative of the effort. Seeing the two trains of box cars running on your fantastic layout is really special. I wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Bill B.
Thank you, Bill! Glad you enjoyed my little video. It was fun and I'm glad I was able to participate. Merry Christmas to you and yours. Hope we can do this again next year.
But ya can’t see the trains when they are in tunnel.😅 kinda like turning the lights out for a few seconds or closing your eyes. LOL
Yep, but it is so cool watching them come out!
Well done, Bill B. Is going to be very happy when he sees your video! 😊👍🚂💯🎄
Thank you! there sure have been a lot of challenge videos posted!

Thank you for sharing the history of your layout. I really enjoyed the tour of your beautiful layout. Merry Christmas!😊👍🚂💯🎄
Glad you enjoyed it! I THINK the history is pretty cool.
You have a beautiful layout. Love your Eric’s trains locomotive and tender. Nice track plan, well thought out. Frank😊
Thank you! It really is a nice set. That track plan went through about 24 revisions using the track plan software.
That’s how I designed my last couple layouts as well Larry. Great work!😊
Awesome Larry!
Thank you!
Thats a Spicy Meat Ball.

Awesome layout
Thank you!
Eric’s NW-2 and Caboose is a nice addition to your layout, thanks for sharing!🚂🚂
Thank you! I'll be doing a layout up date soon so stay tuned!
Nice layout and the NW-2 is real nice.
Thank you! That engine runs real nice.
Great news indeed, Larry. The loco sounds great and looks great. The smoke effect is a bonus indeed! The Box-Car set its pulling are very good and the matching A & W Caboose is just the cherry on the cake. Lovely to get that matched! A fantastic lay-out and thank you for the running session, sir!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video.
Looks good larry , you have some fun ideas going on the layout !
Thank you! It has been a lot of fun building and altering. Got a couple more projects working as well as the tunnel section.
Thats a pretty awesome piece to have .
fantastic
Thank you! Glad you stopped by for a look!
Classic !!
Thats neat with the burro crane in the scene .
Looks good .
😃Oh dear! Well, practice makes perfect. All the best Larry. Cheers!
They have so much fun when they come visit and run the trains.
Where did you get your turn signals? I've never seen those before.
Got those on AMAZON. They are called Wing Lights. There are several different models. The ones I got are powered by the "coin" type battery, but there is another model that is rechargeable and also work as running lights.
