I can’t understand how a personalized midi keyboard can cost 3k, it just makes no sense. I’m using sunlite (compushow in america) with some akai midi controller or elation midicon, and I get avolites must be a better program but these wings are just so overpriced imo

I am not a huge fan of parking values for zones. It is convenient for operator, thats great, but at the same time, pretty easy to unintenionaly screw up by someone. Or maybe in festival scenario when switching operating console between acts... Maybe just for safety, it might be better to have these values stored in units themself than in console. But that might be just me and its perfectly fine for someone else.

I dont get, why they haven't integrated a "Tap to Speed" Button for the FX engin effects yet. This is a problem since the software was on the Martin Consoles. You can only Tab Speed for Chasers. Maybe someone of the obsidian guys knows something about it ;-) Otherwise Onyx is an awesome lightingdesk series.

How do I Install this? My church just got one but I’m not sure which version of the software I need to download on the computer. There’s already a version of Titan running on the mac but doesn’t the T3 board need a different piece of software to run/turn on whenever I connect the board to the Mac via USB-C? Please help

The non-locking USB-C is due to this being a sample. The retail T3 comes with a locking USB-C connector :)

Very green to lighting and starting out with Avolites. I really dig the technique of utilizing cue-lists for intensity control; cleared up a lot of the initial "how do I maintain full dimmer control at all times" confusion. I'm curious, is that a pretty standard way to do it? Thanks to anyone willing to respond

Chamsys and MA have been doing synergy type mapping between screens and fixtures for years, maybe not like how avolites does it but its not game changer for the broad industry.

The narration says that the flare doesn't have the RGB face but in the chart it has a check mark. Also the Stormy doesn't have variable zoom but it's checked in the chart.
