Nice evening flight with Jeff and Shaun. Shaun's engine started acting up giving him multiple engine outs after a few successful restarts. The last engine out happend close to the ground and he elected to not attempt restart. Great call! Shaun made a perfect spot landing!!!! Saturday Evening Flight in Tuscola with the Nirvana. Got some decent high climbs to 4-5000 feet for some glides. Went around Tuscola to try and find some Ridge Lift. Sunday morning flight from Tuscola, Tx to Abilene State Park about 20 minutes away. Jeff and Chuck flying a Dudek DriftAir and a Dudek Solo respectively. Lots of speed bar from both where the DriftAir is the king of speed and agility as compared to the Solo. Different wings with different missions. Would you say the solo has good speed trimmed out before speed bar?
Trimmers fill out without bar, it is about on par with a neutral trimmed driftair. It’s faster only slightly than the universal and definitely slower than the driftair and nucleon 4
@@tangeray69 thanks for the quick reply! Absolutely it's not going to compete with those hotter wings. But overall between other gliders of similar class, the solo seems to be pretty quick? I've got one on order. Hoping I made a good pick as first wing after training.
@@CoyoteOne you did. It’s a perfect wing for above average beginner and should carry you through intermediate phase and XC flights.

I just found this through Laguna, and that totally made since. I'm a rookie at 3D. Fifteen plus yrs w/2D software, sign making and ect. ect. I have been kicking around other software for over a month or so, and this tutorial really made since. Great job!!
bro i need your help . the toolpath doesnt show in my aspire 8.0 .i tried everything yet still cant find it for some reason . is there a shortcut button to it or do i need to do something to enable it or what ?
