Obviously Mommy Mearest is better. She's forced to sing her song much slower than she's capable of in order to fit the song, meaning she's capable of singing faster than Mairest, who is singing her song pretty closely to its original speed and so is basically using her full capabilities as far as we're aware. And despite singing her song slower, Mearest manages to make it sound good regardless. Also it's not intentional but Mairest is looking upset and like she's going all out, meanwhile Mearest is just smiling, like it's just a game for her and she doesn't even need to give it her all.
