Just saying. In numerous tests, the NX5U beat out the HMC-150 multiple times. And this was back in 2010. Camera technology has come a long way. How could a 4 year old camera possibly outperform a newer camera (NX3), when the newer camera's predecessor (NX5U) performed better than the HMC-150 4 years ago? Like I said. I am just saying, it is my opinion. But... I have been working as an professional ENG for the past 3 years, and I have used many different cameras. Right now, the best bang for you buck camera is the JVC GY-HM600. The v1 firmware of this camera sucks (crappy auto settings, broken autofocus, etc...) but once the camera is upgraded to v2. It has the BEST low light quality, the best detail, and you can set it to 3 different formats (AVCHD, MPEG2, or H.264), plus it has an HDSDI, and TC I/O. I have used it for the past year. I run it up to 12db, sometimes 15db, and I am amazed on how well the picture stands up to those high gains.

HMC is soooooooo much better. Only thing is that the NX3 with the CMOS sensors is sharper, but then you get that evil rolling shutter!

MotusWorks, your welcome & thanks for the response. Rush Videos did not receive a manual from Sony as requested, so figuring everything out was our job. We do agree low light is more important especially for wedding videographers. The dual card slot & the additional 7x zoom was huge. Over all the price point was fair and we definitely consider it great video camera.
