Nathalie McGloin is the first female spinal injured racing and rally driver to hold a race and rally licence in the UK. She is currently the only female tetraplegic to race cars in the world. Currently, she competes in her Porsche Cayman S in various Championships.
In 2018 Nathalie became President of the FIA Disability and Accessibility Commission which is responsible for the global legislation on disabled motorsport. Nathalie is the co-founder of the charity Spinal Track that gives disabled drivers their first experience of track and/or rally driving. She is also an ambassador for Wings For Life, a Red Bull funded charity that funds research for a cure for paralysis. As a woman in motorsport, Nathalie is also an ambassador for the FIA Girls On Track UK initiative which encourages and supports women in motorsport.

C6/7 complete quad floor to chair transfer using a prop
After 21 years, I’ve managed to do this. Really important factors for me are: position of my bum in relation to my chair and step and the stability of my legs. Every injury is different so different systems work for different people. My arm length works against me making me need the step but my power to weight works for me, allowing me to make this transfer.

With the support of my allies, I survived that and came out stronger. Here's a very honest reflection on that time and how I've realised that surviving that means I can survive anything. That is an accident waiting to happen. You are risking a fall and broken leg or hand or arm. Just buy a tub with a flat area level with your chair that you can transfer unto.

Maybe you should invest in a Guardian transfer bench with commode opening cost about $120. It extends from inside the tub to outside the top for convenient and very stable with the suction cups.
