Last day of Mizen to Malin...the long way. The last 50 Km in the Donegal wind and rain. It has been an incredibly enjoyable experience and can't wait to get out on the next mision. Thank you to everyone who donated to Childhood Cancer Ireland, we will do this again only bigger and better.

Day 7 last big day and disappointed it's coming to an end, and was just getting the hang of this. The north of this country is beautiful and cycling through it is the best way to appreciate it. Head wind's again today made progress slow but it beats the rain i suppose.

I'm well into the northern part of the country now and these roads are not familiar to me, good to be on new roads. Border counties today Cavan Fermanagh Monaghan Meath Louth Armagh and Down.

Still got that headwind for a couple of hours today but looking forward to a change in direction at the Mayo border and start to head east

Day 4 on Mizen to Malin...the long way. Starting out from Naas and the wind didn't seen too bad but once out on the Curragh it was as bad as day 3. Through the midlands with long straight roads and little shelter it was going to be a long day.

Day 3 starting out from New Ross heading towards Dublin and straight off it became clear that today would be one of those day's. Feeling good and confident about another strong day on the bike but heavy headwinds put an end to good progress.

Day 2 of Mizen to Malin ...the long way. Leaving county Cork behind as i head for county Clare through Limerick and Tipperary crossing the Suir into Waterford then crossing the Suir again into Kilkenny and the dash to New Ross in county Wexford

Mizen to Malin with a twist, getting to Malin by touching all 32 counties. Not knowing how this would go but was hoping that i could do this in 6 days, a little ambitious but give it a shot anyway. All proceeds going to Childhood Cancer Ireland, go into iDonate then find Mizen to Malin...the long way

The Sliabh Aughty mountains lie between county Clare and county Galway...not a lot of people live in that area, as a result it's quiet and peaceful.

First day out on the Romet, a little bit different as it's a gravel bike. I wasn't expecting a jump in performance but i was pleasantly surprised.

It's a myth that salt is bad for you...if in doubt add more salt! 😁

Good video plenty of hills in Clare did the cliffs of moher 125km great cycling event.

Yes solo on the road, my wife is the support team she goes ahead to organize accommodation. Today it's New ross to Tullamore via Dublin hope to be in Drogheda by Thursday evening. Have a look on Facebook for daily uodates, thank you 👍👍

Redshift Seat Post solved my Saddle Problems. Love Ireland. Lived in Killarney and Cong a while back.

Good video it takes a bit of time to break a saddle in i fine Brooks d17 very good don't need padded shorts anymore and i do long distance cycling.

Take a look at carradice barley saddlebag and the rack they recommend.top class gear.i could lend you the bag but I haven't the rack.anyway super video as per usual.is your tour in Ireland.
Great video! I'm also awkward when it comes to saddles and I've found the Brooks Cambium C17 to be ideal for multi-day big distances when it's angled nose-up around 3-4 degrees with bib shorts (otherwise it's a bit uncomfortable after a few hours with the lack of padding). Maybe you've tried it already, but I'm new to the channel and haven't followed the full saddle saga!
Can confirm this, the Cambium is very comfortable, You have to choose the right width for your size. Thank you for showing us your tours, I very much appreciate reliving memories of Irish impressions from 2 holidays there.

That is so sad to hear about Higgins....loosing a good friend hits everybody very hard. I thought i had some footage of him that day we met but only had the top of his head, i was sure i'd be able to get him again sometime 🤨🤨
@@rotostrokes5856 thx man it just only happened yesterday in 3 minutes and we had to stay with him for a bit while the vet was injecting him something to help him to pass away and then we were so sad that we were all crying because of Higgins so will you be able to say some prayers for him today please thank you so much for your support of my family
No loop the loop stop!! - Have you tried fizik saddles - they have always been good for me comfort wise.
No i haven't...i changed again last week and spent a few hours on the bike, its improved but i think i can do better
Saddle problem could be you change from drop bars to flat bar your body is in a different paristion on bike fit might help.
Yes there is a bit of that going on...a bike fit is the correct way to go about this

I tried a Brooks a couple of years back, yes it was comfy at the start but towards the end of the day there were other problems 😁
