The Skeena has to be one of the nicest stretches of railroad in the country. I need to head out and take another ride on the Rocket sometime. Looks like alot has changed since I’ve been there last. At least a couple new sidings from what I can see. Concrete ties as well! How late was your arrival into PG?

What Canada needs is an electrified line on the corridor route. I think there should be VIA rail on the western side of St Laurence river that connects Montreal to Trois Riviers to Quebec City.

Interior detailing on the Siemens trainsets looks warmer than the Amtrak Airo for replacement of corridor services using 70s & 80s era Amfleet stock - colours, materials, etc. I just hope Siemens offers color temperature calibration on the overhead lighting! The cool white LED lighting they do these days is harsh and uninviting.
