Hi! Meet our budgies, Lemon and Kiwi! They are each so special and fun. Lemon loves bathtime! He bathes in warm water in the sink. He fluffs his feathers and rolls on his belly in our hands. Kiwi loves to talk and says over 40 words. They are both so cute and we love them so much!

We've been teaching Kiwi to say "Gimme some kiss," but in this video he says, "Gimme some cake" instead!

The yellow budgie is a recessive pied ? I have the same budgies , the yellow recessive pied with pink cere(i think it's a male) and a male green budgie. I am looking to get a female for the yellow one but i have no idea which mutation is the suitable one to get yellow babies.
@@nt8538 Yes, you’re right, Lemon is a recessive pied, but sorry I don’t know what mutations work for breeding yellow babies.

@@yogicfire thats wild. I could’ve sworn the little yellow birdie had a brown brown nose, that usually implies it’s a female. Good to know!

Honestly never been a fan of this type of parrot. There to fast honestly. I like medium sized parrots like cockatiels and Green conure or Quaker. Still i love all birds this ones no exception.
Biggest budgies/parakeet i've ever seen, how to make them grow so big and healthy like that? what about their food?
@@junioedo755 They are English budgies. It’s just their genetics. They mostly eat seed, but they also love brown rice, spinach, and oatmeal. 😊
@@LemonKiwiShow I have a local budgie, also im from Indonesia, and have a small body, so how to change from eating porridge to eating seed and some leaves like spinach

I had a Budgie that loved totake baths like yours. He would get mad at me when I turned the water off. Later he would take showers with me.

They are both boys. Lemon’s pink cere is from his mutation(coloring). 😊
