Hey bud, got a new one on me here. I was taking off the cable bracket on the outside of the case. The linkage went into L1 to take the bolt off. Went to re-install, but the linkage os stuck in L1, and wont come out of L1. I'm thinking it slipped past the pawl, or the bracket that pushes the rod against the pawl. I won't know until I drain the fluid, and drop the pan. But right now the vette it's in is stuck in front of my house. I've rebuilt a few th350 trannies in my time, but NEVER had this happen before. Thinking its past the pawl bracket, or behind the pawl itself. I'll let you know what happened. Hope you got a idea what you think.

Are you able to use the original 5speed from the i6 on the 302

Starter is on opposite side on a 307, it's a different starter. You need a B.O.P starter

I bought the same kit from Hughes but it appears the special key is to short to reach into the cam sprocket. If I align it so it goes into the cam sprocket, then it is able to walk out of the sprocket and back into the "large washer". I've seen a few posts on forums stating the same issue but no one appears to have a solution. Anyone else seen this or have a solution?

The 318/360 mag both use the same head and intake. Also it looks like you have a 93-96 block as you can still see the oil hole in the deck for LA oiling. Very good block to build.

That mopar head flows ver close to 200cfm stock don't let the pinch fool you as well as combustion chamber.

The dodge LA is a 1.5 rocker and the magnum is a 1.6 rocker

I would cut the factory transmission mounts off and make your own transmission mount. The factory ones are in the way of exhaust. You can make it work with them, but way easier to cut them off and make a new one. Just my opinion
