Does a NH35 movement fit without any mods?
You very straight forward, however you must get NH35 with date wheel to suit 4:00 crown, Maybe trim movement holder around crown tube and you will need to custom fit a crown and stem to suit.(see link to my video)
I saw one of those watches about a week ago.
You really shouldn't have touched that watch... only basic service. It has great patina and you ruined it with new set of hands and mov. Basically you did a franken watch. Put original parts in and have a great original watch with history and usage.
If you just watched even the first 15 seconds of the video you would hear him say the "movement is beyond servicing."
Hello mate yes I agree and I normally try keep my restorations original as seen in my other videos, I bought this watch for its patina, it came from the Philippine's so the movement was a rusted mess and beyond saving as were the hands so thought it was a good opportunity to try the upgrade and give it a new lease on life. In the future if I get a set of old but usable hands I may put a 7000 movement back in.
@@120CLICKS66 Oh, I guess I missed the first 15 sec of the video. Your video is fine and you brought that watch back to life, but... This is the example of how not to do a restoration... you know it, I know it... everybody knows it. The only ones defending this are the people You supposed to educate how to do a proper restauration. If the watch is beyond repair... than it's gone. I just saw Caseback Watches channel where his viewer send him vintage Omega Speedy from the 60's for review. Guess what, the case is wrong, the back is wrong, mov is fine but how did he fit that into a case? If he sells that watch as a speedy to someone, it would be a fraud. So this is... kind of a bad comment, but it is what it is.
I did a skx009 with a nh35 movement upgraded.
An excellent upgrade for a great watch.
In Toronto canada I buy a super super clone I bring it to a rolex expert he say it was real rolex . Unbelievable. Your super clone look just like mine. You a expert but a regular person like me will never know. Imagine on mamacoo
It looks pretty good. How much is the price? I don't think they sell it in my country yet.
This watch is from early 2000's you may find one if you search online or ebay.

Hello, I knew about this model years ago, I tried to get it but it was not possible. So I got the Seiko Solar Diver SNE107 which is very similar, although quartz...... I am very satisfied with it. You made me remember a good time in my life with your presentation. Greetings

Fascinating variant. Thanks for sharing. I have a 1992 7002-7001 150m diver that’s been around the block but keeping great time. For a 17 jewel movement, it’s surprising how robust they are. I bought mine from a retiring watchmaker. The bezel has faded from black to a bluey tinge.
These watches will take a beating and a bit of patina tells a story.

Nice watch! I recently bought and received a Seiko 7002 700j from the Philippines through eBay. Mine came with a new Seiko 7002 700j pastel green colored dial and I just swapped the original bezel for a new coin edge bezel. I'm loving the look of this old school Seiko diver watch! Next, I'll probably get a double domed sapphire crystal with AR coating for it as the original glass has scuff marks on it.

A very nice watch, but its movement is pale in comparison to that of the Seiko quartz 7-T-92 chronograph movement .
Yes I agree this is a great looking watch, I have many Seiko Chronographs and the Seiko movements do operate a lot nicer.

How do i use the 60 minute subdial. I have got a Chronograph Quartz Black Dial Men's Watch AN8195-58E last week, but don’t know the use of the 60 min subdial, can u help me? Please. :)
Your watch will track up to 24hr. Once you activate the Chronograph function it will count running seconds on the 6 o'clock dial, every minute up to 60 minutes on the 9 o'clock dial and every hour up to 24hrs on the 12 o'clock dial.
