Absolutely thrilled to have attended the special screening of the Konkani language movie "Tarpana" at SGS GSB Sabha Chennai! The film had us captivated from start to finish with its compelling family melodrama, stellar acting performances, gripping story, excellent direction, engaging dialogues, and good background music. While I won't give any spoilers, I must say that the acting, especially the father-son chemistry, was truly goosebump-inducing. Shot in scenic natural locations in Southern Karnataka, the film has to be lauded for its spontaneous dialogues, cultural and ethos portrayal, and impactful message.. "Tarpana" has already garnered significant recognition, winning the Special Mention Award for Debut Filmmaker, Best Family Feature Film Award, and Best Konkani Film at the Dadasaheb Phalke Awards. Additionally, director DevdasNayak, an engineer in his late 20s, was felicitated at the Indo-French International Festival for Best Debut Director. Kudos to him and the entire team for delivering such an amazing piece of cinema. I'm excited to see more Konkani movies like this in the future. Saw Tharpan 1st show @ our SGS sabha today. From start to end I have never seen such pin drop silence anywhere while watching any movie. Dialogues, acting, story, music and above all editing were extraordinary and can't believe that a young engineer who is in his 30s has made this film. I know film goers psychology and my predictions about movies' success have never failed. So, I predict that if this movie is dubbed in different regional languages, it will be a super hit in each language wherever it is released. Kudos to the young producer.

I have seen the movie very good movie directed by young director really I liked this movie and congratulations to all the crew members of film. I would have liked to be part of them.
