When i rewatched on how they constructed these goals, and i rewatched it a couple times, i just admit that Ten Hag does have a style of play, it indicates to me that it's not his intention to play counter attacking football, but because he doesn't have all the players to fully implement his identity, they have to resort to counter attacks a lot. I think he wants to have control over games, but he doesn't have all the players to play in such a fashion. I was one of them that wanted him to become our next manager, but then i lost all confidence in him and began to be doubtful of him, but after rewatching this particular clip and remembering also his first season, not only that, he has now won us two trophies in back to back seasons, i can't be biased, i think he deserves more time, even though we just had our worse season, which caused me both sorrow and anger. But if i should be honest, he deserves more time, i hope i am right, but if you watch and observe these moments keenly, you can detect the kind of football he wishes to play. I love beautiful football, i am not a big fan of counter attacking football, i love when teams have dominion in games especially my team, not just to have most of the ball, but dominating the opposition, but Ten Hag has won us two trophies in two years, and if you asked me, i would rather play poorly and win the trophy, than playing superbly and ending up losing.. So i will say, let's give him more time, i hope he will not let us down, I'm actually fighting against my will to extend more patience to him.

I think come next season, a lot of opposing players will be trying to foul him way more in order to stop him. He can start offensive plays from deep while his composure on the ball is very well mated to his low centre of gravity, close control of the ball and quick shuffle, allowing him to carry the ball forward. If referees can protect him, England might be looking at their very own Xavi or Iniesta. Just give him a couple of seasons playing regularly to develop his creative eye.
