DON'T GO INTO Cloverdale paints they will rip you off. I went in and was quoted $50 for a gallon of paint then after it was mixed the price switched to 90! Desperate company that has lost it's customers

For 20 years in business, not many homes crafted nor reviews.. go on PIONEER LOG HOMES OF BRITISH COLUMBIA.. That is a company, look at there inventory of logs, that is why they emphasize on dry logs and not to use green logs.. NO BRAINER.. I should have done more research.. do not make the same mistake..In this case going green is not better....LOL... GO WITH DRY LOGS!!!

Then I asked myself why would someone do that, I think they have no place to store the logs to dry or maybe not enough carrying power or maybe it is easier to cut timber when it is wet???? I feel all the above! but what would i know, I only own one.. again just my opinion..

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I purchased a home from Summit Log and Timber and ended up as aVERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!!!! THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THERE CRAFTMANSHIP! They will not even admit when they are wrong regardless of a professional who fixed there flaw design!!!! BEWARE OF SUMMIT LOG AND TIMBER!!!!!!!!! There are others from British Columbia that do great work.
