Milwaukee Stubby Fuel Impact Wrench vs Older Model
I just wired this rocker switch, I took a picture of the wires and also made a diagram to help me walk through the process. If anybody would like me to send them these picture you can email me at jordannunez2014@gmail.com and I would be happy to share them!
nail polish is good for adding accents to prints, works better then a sharpie
Was it compatible with the twinlock?
Yes it was. You just need to be careful what year fox fork you get due to the older ones not being compatible as they are a 2 stage not a 3 stage lockout.
Hi mate can you tell me what the green and blue wires are for
Can't believe your the only one to address this issue, thanks for the video boss 🤙 mine dig into my shins after a long day of riding my shins have a fat bump on them from those bottom parts digging into my shins love the guards but I'm going to try what you did 🤟
I'm glad you found my video and I hope it helps! I ended up parting ways and went to a knee only guard and love it!
Isn't there a white filament thats close match for Yamaha cable guides
That's a great question. I don't know. Let me know if you find one!
@@Adventure72Awaitsis it possible to print like the fuel tank rads or like headlight cowl / fairings / air boxs & did you find the white filments just thinking ov getting a printer myself ?
@@officialmysteriousrider130 they sell white filament on Amazon. 3d printing is great for items not stressed like the brake guide.
What is the internal structure ? Especially regarding the tange which is the strength of the knife
This is embarassing for both tools. 50lbs is nothing. One struggled and one couldn't do it at all.
Doesn't the description say 150?
Did you put the spacer in both front fork legs?
Yes, i put one in both.
Nice work! I've had some fitment issues with my Baja Designs XL Sports on my 2020 250F. Decided to make my own mount that fits properly! Will have to test it when it cools down here. Many things can be made for sure!
It would be awesome to see the inside wiring
I never really bottom out with mine… usually. But I may try this..
Would have been better if you showed us step by step instead of pointing and talking
Next time...
Which Pro Taper handlebar did you install?
Contour YZ Bend
@@Adventure72Awaits Thank you!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences with this suspension setup. I plan to do the same mods on my XT..
I bought a 1994 XT225 back in 2008, with less than 1500 miles on it. I weigh 240, and both the front and rear bottomed out in a parking lot. I replaced the complete rear shock and spring with Works Performance parts. I also put much stiffer Works Performance springs in the forks, along with 20W oil. The 1994 model has oil drain plugs on the forks. Almost $1000 worth of suspension parts (in 2008) But it went from being unrideable to being a great trail bike for the AZ desert. I still have it. Almost 30,000 miles and still running like new.
I debated for some time on doing a suspension upgrade. It is definitely worth it for what you got out of the bike! That is awesome! I love the reliability!
That was a great video I enjoyed this bike content and what you did . Very cool and enjoying. Thanks Mark from Maryland

Spent $50 on a muffler (starts engine and you can hear worn timing chains and guides rattling (
She gets me from point A to B and back. She doesn't have to be perfect.

Thats a good idea. I carry mine in a backpack...but my backpack just gets heavier and heavier it seems...I don't have flex bars but I do like your idea.
I’ve got a couple craftsman adapters for power wheels. What gauge wire should I look for on the adapter I get for the stacyc?
I don't know. I've got a wire bin that just has old wires from other things I've taken apart. I just tried to match the same size wire that the Stacyc had. As long as it's close I don't think it matters too much. I've had it set up this way for a year now and my son uses it a couple times a week and it's holding up well.
Excellent bikes, we have 2 of them. Just put the spring from a TTR225 on and it did help the rear for me. Also check out the Z1 mod for a small performance improvement. I'm also running a standard chain vs an O-ring chain as a test. So far it is fine and has just a bit more pepe due to less friction loss. You wouldn't feel it on a more powerful bike, but somethinglike the 225 with modest power, it can be felt.
Stock gearing?
Yes, the 6th gear really helps get up there.
That looks nice! I got that the positive goes to the switch. How about the negative? Where did you connect it? Thanks!
I split the negative into 2 wires and ran one to each battery.
man in utah people wanna go 90 on the highway i moved to oregon and highways are alot more chill i never feel the need to go more than 55 unless im on the interstate
thanks for this video bro. i just got the same bike last week and got my license as well, this video was awesome thank you!!!
i live in kaysville utah😂
Good cheap mods, I did this fork mod forty years ago on my bike. Try standing up more when offroad, your knees help out with absorbing stuff. It's a better way to absorb stuff. Lofting the front wheel a little helps out also. If you don't bottom out some you are not using the full suspension travel.
Thanks for the advice. I agree with what you're saying, but I just have a hard time being happy on the bike after riding my YZ250.
@@Adventure72Awaits Two more inches of suspension travel? we used to make all our dirt bikes street legal. I'm looking around for something for riding around my small town and occasional dirt roads. The xt250 seems good but does sound like it needs to be stiffened up a bit. The Honda 300 has more suspension but is kinda high off the ground. I first thought about the TW200 but it seems underpowered. Enduros will never be as good offroad as a pure dirt bike. The tires limit stuff also.
@@ronwest7930 yeah, I think the xt250 would be good for a small town and fire road trail riding. Out here we have big desert whoops that beat you up pretty good.
@@Adventure72Awaits Newer bikes have really good suspension. I raced desert racing with old bikes with a lot less suspension travel.
Thanks for the upload. As a budget motorcyclist you covered what's important. I've just written off a scooter, (car that did not see me), and I want a small bike replacement. Also to help with learning off-road skills that may help in an emergency. Really thinking hard on this bike, but wondering if it is a little small for my 6 foot frame. Maybe I can re-upholster the seat to give another few inches height. Wish you luck in your learning
Really cool. Good gas mileage too. I miss riding Stg.
I really like your mods to the suspension but I think I would use somethin other than copper pipe as that metal is to different from the other metals in the forks which can cause a battery situation where the metals start to eat away at each other. I have seen others use plastic pipe instead. Just something to think about when introducing a different metal on any project.
Hi, how does it get battery in ne neutral Position? You stick all black together? Can you discripe ehe wiriring a Little Bit More please? How is it working with a stop at low battery damage with the second one?
I spliced a wire into the negative wire for the original battery and ran the spliced wire to my added battery. I pulled the power wire running to the original battery and ran the power to the switch on the middle terminal and then ran a wire from the switch to both batteries.
@@Adventure72Awaits ok and in the neutral position it gets the power from the blue or green wire? This doesn't wort without the original battery in front right?
@@Mo-Moto it works without the original battery because both batteries have power and ground running to them.
@@Adventure72Awaits I watched the video again and then you said it again. in the neutral its not on. I thought the beeb of the throttle was in the Off Position. now its clear thanks.
I ran a similar set up on my sons and it pops the fuse when i turn it on. Power to power ground to group. I did not use a switch just planned to run one battery at a time. Any thoughts as to why it pops the fuse?
Congrats, man!
fyi, I replaced my fork springs $155 from Procycle, rear shock spring $180 from Cogent..well worth it (i'm about 215lbs..)
That's not bad at all. The front is a little rough on the road sometimes so I may go to the heavier spring down the road.
Just remember....You get what you pay for!
Agreed. Seems to get the job done though.
I got one. I put skate board tape on it. Doesn't slip in your hand now
Where did you source the one inch spacer?
It came from a 1 inch copper pipe that I purchased from the hardware store.
Nice layout..you ran all 4 wires to that one switch you added?
No it's a three prong switch.
@@Adventure72Awaits appreciate the response I'm I'm going to copy what you did
@@Adventure72Awaits is it a 3 or 6 prong
Hey nice XT, can you explain what type of copper fitting you used and if you cut the spring? ..how many ml of new weight 15 oil did you use?..cheers from Canada!
I used a 1 inch by 24 in copper pipe to cut my spacer. I didn't cut the spring in case I wanted to go back. I put 12 oz of oil in each side.
which footpegs did you go with?
I ordered them from here: www.dmospecialties.com/ I was nervous to order because the site didn't seem legit but I got my pegs a week later and they were the only option for larger pegs for the XT225. They are fantastic quality! I'd order again many times over.
Great bike . Inspect those spokes regularly . You will destroy those hubs if spokes aren't tight .
That's what I've heard. Otherwise seems like a pretty good bike.

Your battery isn't really giving juice to the tool those impacts like the big boy batteries
I think your torque wrench is busted lol that doesnt look like 50 pounds
Deep impact socket is a lot more heavier and produces more impact torque. BTW your m18 battery probably the issue.
