I live in India and we don't need plungers here 😂
why's that?
@@1-Tom-Plumber Cuz we don't use toilet paper , we use water instead
ohh duh
The first few seconds made me laugh hard, instantly liked it although all the techniques are pretty useful too.
hahaha thank you! Glad our tips helped :)
What if you test it then when you try to turn it back off it just keeps flowing? (stuck open)
The issue I have is that the odor coming from all drains including shower, bath and bathroom sink. Could you please send me the link of your video? And also any recommendations would very much appreciated.
$0 and 5 minutes later I was able to remove it. Thank you! I initially spent over an hour trying to pry it off and spray WD40.
no problem glad we could help!
Maybe now you can clean the toilet?
Thx, helpful
No problem!
Oh my God! Just pull the frigging filter out dude. This is an example of how take a 30 second instructional video and talk for 10 minutes.
mine doesn’t really suction well 😭
You can also take the shower head off and pour the vinegar inside better with bag
I forgot to mention that, but yes you're right!
I moved last month and the movers couldn't find the shut off valve for the refrigerator so I call 1-Tom-plumber and Nick arrived on time, pleasant and in a couple of mins after I asked if he had looked under the sink he immediate opened the door and asked if we had an R.O. system, which we did and he said there's the shut off. Such a nice young man and a pleasant experience with this company. I would give the 5 stars for sure. Jeanie
very nice instructional video. it worked for me. Thank you!
You're welcome!
Hi. I have turned off the main water shut off in the basement to replace a Shark Bite fitting that wont shut off anymore. I have released the water pressure all through the house and in the sink and shower of the en suite where I am working but water keeps coming out of the water supply for the toilet. It wont stop. There is no water in the toilet tank so its not coming from there. Never seen this before. When you shut off the mains and relieve the pressure in the system water should not be coming from a supply line ? We are not on well water. Any ideas ? Thanks
Ay yo wtf he doing with that plunger?? Why he moving it like that
Joke
lmao
😂
Do you know what adapters I need to hookup to the washing machine spigots?
Our pressure had always been very low. It only became an issue when there wasn’t enough pressure to flush my boat engine. So I tested it and it was at 20 psi. I adjusted it to 60 and now the engine is discharging with the hose just fine. Anyway, should I adjust it back down? Or do I need to worry about it spiking and becoming too high? I just don’t want any leaks with too much pressure. It’s at 60 now
he didn't show the progression from 2:33 to when it was basically super loose.
No
Aztecs were able to move water up mountains for their baths
Little pumps are why my child exists
Nonsense.
I thought it was to allow men to piss and aim without hitting the seat 😂 I’ve never considered getting my d caught
hahaha
and the ADVANCED europeans simply did not bathe at all, and with that got many many diseases
Electric showers?
yes
Why would you clean yourself before a shower?
cleaned themselves before showers *were invented
Fun fact - the oldest drainage system was discovered in Harappa Mohanjodaro excavation in Indus Valley Civilization, putting it to be in 2400 BCE. Greeks did almost 2000 yrs later.
woah! that's so cool I didn't know that. What were they like?
🦶 ham🥪
Tankless water heater 🤦♀️
I’m pretty sure tankless water heaters were invented before tank style
Dude is acting like showers were the only way to bathe throughout history
Baths no exist! Only Showers 😂
Waterfalls are so uncommon that it’s seems almost idiotic to act like our ancestors used those for bathing.
I figured it'd be easier to bathe in a river or lake. 😂
They used bodies of water to, but waterfalls were apart of it also haha
@@1-Tom-Plumbergoogle a map with all the water falls that are more than ten feet tall. You’ll understand how they just used water sources and not waterfalls. I’m not saying it never happened, I’m saying it would have been a rare thing.
Ever stood under a fairly high waterfall? It's not as much fun as you might think.
@@tonyanderson-ln9glcouldn’t agree more.
Thank you - this was a big help! Very detailed but not long and tedious detailed.
Glad it was helpful!
Tysm
No problem!
Thank you thank you thank you!!!
You are so welcome!
A thousand thanks!! I have been routinely buying the expandible hosest that are always on sale at Home Depot, etc. Unfortunately I forgot to remove the hoses from my outdoor spigots over the winter. This happend once before and like your video I had to saw off the hose connector that was essentially molded onto the spigot. Watched your video and it reaffirmed the way I removed the hose metal last time this occurred. Must say these hoses' metal connection pieces are made of poor quality metal. If you buy and live in a climate with cold winters make suree to ALWAYS remove the hose during winter. Otherwise you'll have to follow the video.
I'm glad it helped!
Are you plunging with air or water? after the first plunge it's just air back n forth.
It's the air that forces the clog out of the pipe
Please don't do this. I worked for a plumber, and I spent so much time cleaning stuck-on baking soda and other debris from people's drain lines. Talk to your plumber and get a proper solution to clean your lines. The bottom line is if your sinks, tub, shower, or whatever is draining slowly or not at all, you need to have it snaked out by a professional (not the tiny snake from Home Depot rentals). Once it's been properly cleaned, you can buy a treatment that uses bacteria and natural enzymes to eat and break down the sludge that can build up in your pipes. Stop spending hundreds of dollars on hacks and shoddy equipment just to do it halfway or, worse, break your pipes. Call a plumber.
What if it’s inside the house and not plugged?
Just pour barkeepers friend down drain, move on
yeah this looks impressive but it actually barely does anything
Thanks. So why do you need an expansion tank if you already have a T&P valve?
You know that vinegar and baking soda cancel each other out because one is acidic and one is basic, so you are basically doing nothing to it?
Yeah it reacts though lol, the baking soda gets in to the gunk before you drop the vinegar.
Don't do this is you have PVC pipes
Lol who does
@@melodicmoss Most new builds use PVC for plumbing and it "does, dose"

I have the same problem, slow fill. Checked filter, very clean and clear. Problem remains.
Had to cut it off too. Thanks for the tip!
no problem :)
Thank you! I had a little connector hose that broke in three pieces and the plastic connecter is stuck on the spigot. I'm gonna try to this! Another video recommended PB blaster so maybe a combination of the two will work. I think mine is slightly fused on from some hardwater build up too, I've used CLR but its not helping.
Of course! Glad we could help out.
I tried this out. Never needed the pb blaster. It got the hose connector right off! Once i got the plastic outer piece off with the hack saw and screw driver, a pipe wrench got the metal part off easily. I thought i was going to have to replace the whole spigot before seeing this. (It is really old) thank you so much for this video!!
In a country as fat as America, the fact bidets aren't common is just ridiculous
I agree. I'm american and i have a bidet, and it's so nice!
The amount of bacteria on public sinks is just as bad as the toilet.....I prefer to pee on the floor and not wash my hands.
bruh
@@1-Tom-Plumber Have no fear, its only sarcasm......I think.
The amount of pissed soaked toilet seats at our high school has to be dangerous
omg 😂
