    I moved last month and the movers couldn't find the shut off valve for the refrigerator so I call 1-Tom-plumber and Nick arrived on time, pleasant and in a couple of mins after I asked if he had looked under the sink he immediate opened the door and asked if we had an R.O. system, which we did and he said there's the shut off. Such a nice young man and a pleasant experience with this company. I would give the 5 stars for sure. Jeanie

    Hi. I have turned off the main water shut off in the basement to replace a Shark Bite fitting that wont shut off anymore. I have released the water pressure all through the house and in the sink and shower of the en suite where I am working but water keeps coming out of the water supply for the toilet. It wont stop. There is no water in the toilet tank so its not coming from there. Never seen this before. When you shut off the mains and relieve the pressure in the system water should not be coming from a supply line ? We are not on well water. Any ideas ? Thanks

    Our pressure had always been very low. It only became an issue when there wasn’t enough pressure to flush my boat engine. So I tested it and it was at 20 psi. I adjusted it to 60 and now the engine is discharging with the hose just fine. Anyway, should I adjust it back down? Or do I need to worry about it spiking and becoming too high? I just don’t want any leaks with too much pressure. It’s at 60 now

    A thousand thanks!! I have been routinely buying the expandible hosest that are always on sale at Home Depot, etc. Unfortunately I forgot to remove the hoses from my outdoor spigots over the winter. This happend once before and like your video I had to saw off the hose connector that was essentially molded onto the spigot. Watched your video and it reaffirmed the way I removed the hose metal last time this occurred. Must say these hoses' metal connection pieces are made of poor quality metal. If you buy and live in a climate with cold winters make suree to ALWAYS remove the hose during winter. Otherwise you'll have to follow the video.

    • @1-Tom-Plumber
      @1-Tom-Plumber Před 14 dny

      It's the air that forces the clog out of the pipe

  • @pfcgarrow
    @pfcgarrow Před 16 dny

    Please don't do this. I worked for a plumber, and I spent so much time cleaning stuck-on baking soda and other debris from people's drain lines. Talk to your plumber and get a proper solution to clean your lines. The bottom line is if your sinks, tub, shower, or whatever is draining slowly or not at all, you need to have it snaked out by a professional (not the tiny snake from Home Depot rentals). Once it's been properly cleaned, you can buy a treatment that uses bacteria and natural enzymes to eat and break down the sludge that can build up in your pipes. Stop spending hundreds of dollars on hacks and shoddy equipment just to do it halfway or, worse, break your pipes. Call a plumber.
