I personally have been inspired by your knowledge and insights you offer for Free. I pray that all non profit organizations will enroll in this course. I personally I lead social enterprise called SQUAMOUS. Unfortunately we UN able to enroll due to lack of Funding but we will keep on learning from all other sources you have available 🎉🎉🎉
I am into sports as a coach and as an administrator. Sports has little funding opportunities.I work in agriculture sector.I have noted that there is alot of funding in the areas of climate change, food security and nutrition,water availability.How can I marry sports with these well funded areas so that sports can benefit.I own football club and am a secretary general of a county sports association.Am I supposed to register a CBO/NGO or can I just use the association/ teams certificate
There are indeed opportunities to align sports to other sectors; For example you can use sports events and platforms to raise awareness about climate change and its impacts. This could involve organizing workshops, seminars, and educational programs during sports events to educate athletes, spectators, and the community about climate change issues and solutions. other ways could involving organizing community clean-up events, tree planting activities, or environmental restoration projects that are tied to sports events or teams.
I dont think you need to register another CBO or NGO. I believe all this can be done under the association

Minimum is 3 - chairman, treasurer and secretary; however its good to consider a bigger team say of 5-7 people will different expertise to support you

You have explained a lot of things very well. I am still learning to setup my CBO. I started the journey way back 5 years ago and registered by CBO. I have also managed to build my offices and also got friends to furnish them. We did all the policy documents and have been doing local fundraising for supporting the community. I think it is time for grant writing. I have gained a lot in this clip. Asante.
