One of the best things about the internet for a music lover is that i can come across a band i otherwise would never have been exposed to and listen to their catalogue and covers of their songs within the first 2 weeks of hearing of them. Imagine the work that would have taken 25 years ago, all the cds to buy, vhs etc

My first tape was Flynn theater '97. They opened the show with Cinnamon Girl, so good! I thought it was their song for years! But I couldn't figure out why I didn't see it in more phish setlists. One day when I was 18, my dad played Neil Young's version :-D.

I like everything about Phish except the music, when tix got hard to get in the mid-late 90s I'd sometimes buy a bunch & take them to a show to trade, I never gouged people like a scalper but I could get things in trade for a tix that I couldn't normally find in my town so it was always a worthwhile endeavor, always had a great time on lot

For people who don't know, Blue Nile is from the same home town as Chvrches.
