It's been great to watch this again. Mick and I watched this together from his apartment. He hadn't been playing much by that point but after watching these performances, especially Tim Miller's recorded solo pieces, he was moved. The next day his coffee table was sprawled with numerical and symbolic sketches with arrows and more arrows. He had found the love expressed here energizing and his wheels were spinning again.

Tim working on being more relaxed when playing is interesting to me because he always looks super relaxed already! I'm always surprised by how quickly my back muscles feel knotted when practicing, and then I discovered I don't breathe properly as I'm concentrating so hard. I wonder how Tim manages this aspect of the whole body and its relationship to playing.

For the uninitiated, he’s primarily a jazz guitarist. If he wanted to play straight up, bebop slide, he’d steal faces & take no prisoners. The sweetest, egoless musician…I once had the privilege of asking him multiple questions at a local Jazz Festival workshop. Incredibly inspiring, out of the box brilliance‼️ 🇨🇦

I think I’m safe stating that you gentlemen could popularize jazz for a whole new generation or two. Love the thoughtful, fresh and sensitive approach! Wonderful

Great stuff from Tosin but this is about the worst production you can possibly conjure. Are you guys ok at berklee? You need help, next time you make content to go to the interwebs, pay someone? Just small things. like hearing the music? If the idea is to bring the guitar to the front it could be done in a tasteful manner? Berklee, Concentrate, this is awful to watch on so many levels.
