Cheers M8. It took a while splicing it all together so appreciate the feedback. I'll probably do another one as there is loads decent footage I didn't use (e.g. us hooning up the straight side-by-side). Finding free to use music that's alright might be the biggest challenge!

It was just a shame I wasn't right behind you and you're a bit distant most of the time. I couldn't keep up with you at the start 😆 But you, me and the chap on the Panigale were all pretty much same pace. Better footage next time!

I think I might have been watching @scottishmoto (GSXR600) who I'd just let past on the straight (after holding him up for a good while). It was that or there was someone by the side of the track with some food (I was ready for my lunch)! I wasn't going any faster or doing anything different.

Yeah - I just warm them up on track. Even if I did have tire warmers I'd never fit them in my back pack 😆 I tried Pirelli Supercorsas for the first time on the 29th and they warmed up after a lap (and a half to make sure). The Michellin 2CTs - old tech tyres but cheap - I previously used I would give 2 or 3 laps to warm up. And the difference in grip was amazing. The 2CTs felt on their limit (e.g. squirming down the back straight) whereas I never got close to what the Supercorsas could do. They were rock solid and much quicker round the hairpin especially. Only thing is the rear is nearly goosed after that one day and they're expensive so I'll be buying used ones in future (but I wanted to know what a new pair felt like first).

The 29th was an open pit day. I think I went out about 8 times and - going by my odometer - reckon I did close to 200 laps. Surely one of the most enjoyable and exciting ways to get a bit of a work out 🥲

Yeah, pretty much everyone's great in terms of giving space and being safe. You do occasionally get someone passing in a scary way but it's the exception. Oh, I had a look & listen at a couple of the guitar vids on your channel and if that's you doing the Slipknot covers you're a legend. Sounded awesome!!👏 If you're at Knockhill tomorrow (29th July) I'll hopefully bump into you.

Unless you're the fastest person out there we're all slower than someone 😁. I'm glad to follow someone for a bit - it stops me getting too carried away and it's good viewing! I'd like to follow faster riders for a bit too but... they're too fast 🙄

In that case you have quicker reactions than I do - it was all over pretty quick. The first emotion wasn't fear, it was relief as I tipped into turn one safe and sound 😅

It was fortunate that I was wearing my lucky brown pants that day!! 💩🩳🤣 Cameras usually don't do these sorts of things justice but, in this case, I think my GoPro did a pretty good job👍. The Quadlock stem mount with GoPro adapter also did a great job keeping the GoPro attached 👍👍

@@jackbertie8686 not at all, I hope I didn’t piss anyone else off. Tried my best to not take anyone on the inside as I had a telling off for that last year. So hard with that bike as it can carry a lot of corner speed but 💩 on the straights 🤣🤣

@harriszahid5878 yeah, you got good lean and speed round the corners. Plus, you can see the bike moving (e.g. cranked over in Clarks) about much more than the usual fair! You looked in control, so no issues from me but I suspect you might have pissed someone else off😠(by being faster on a less powerful bike). Wounded pride can do that! 🤣🤣

I had the opposite problem, I'm the guy with the Black ZX10R in white leathers acting like a mobile cone... My bike was quick out the turns but couldn't keep up with most in bends. Also my mate crashing and taken away shit me up a lot rest of session.

Cheers for the compliment on the riding - slow(ish_ and steady with every intention of riding home is my mentality I've not been lucky with the weather. I sacrifice a chicken or two and do a little dance the week before. Seems to work... though I get a bit tired of eating chicken for the rest of the week. I'm booked on the 14th and 29th July. You got any more days at Knockers planned?

Yes going to book the 29th aswell👍 I thought it was busy. Was struggling to get a clean lap but still managed my pb of 56.1. Im hopping to get slicks fitted for the 29th 🤞 I ended up leaving after the 5th session. Was feeling a bit tired and my front brake pads were worn so wasn’t wanting to risk anything. Cool will probably see you on the 29th. Take care 🤟

@dovid985 - Yay! See you on the 29th. I've also booked the 14th July (my hand slipped on the keyboard...). You were absolutely flying. When I was looking at my footage there's hardly any of you because you'd approach, pass and clear off into the distance in seconds! 56.1 is very impressive, especially given the relatively few times you've been so far, change of bike, road tyres. You're taking big chunks off your PB each time out so who knows what you'll do with slicks and a few clear laps (which you should get on the 29th)! Sensible move ducking out rather than pushing things too far - just not worth it. See you at the track :-)

Excellent! What were you riding? (If you don't mind me asking). The weather was perfect, good group of riders and not too much in the way of interruptions. Doesn't get much better than that! Oh and I'm really pleased with the quality of the footage of my new camera. Enjoy my other vids from the day!

It was particularly filthy weather for the first session but even that was still good fun. The last two sessions of the afternoon were glorious... but probably not as good as celebrating an anniversary 😜

Sure do - got footage from all the sessions. They should all be uploaded to YT by tomorrow. I really should get a decent camera a £25, 10 year old thing just isn't good enough.

@@jackbertie8686 I'd avoid older gopro cameras, battery's are shite and annoying to use. I use a contour roam 2, well recommend 👍

Thanks for the tips @wilki5300 . Based on comments from various vloggers there do seem to be reliability issues with Go Pros. I might go cheap(ish) again but go for something that at least has image stabisation. Shame that Contour seem to have gone out of business and surprisingly high prices for 'preloved' ones on ebay. I think I'll do some browsing in the next day or two as I'm thinking about signing up for the Knockers track day on Friday (22nd Sept).

@wilki5300 Cool - I'm glad you caught up and stayed behind for a few turns. From what I've seen of your riding, I'm guessing the only thing that kept you behind me for that long was the camera. Actually, it was probably you exercising good Novice Group etiquette! 👏😆
