Gotta pick your spots with HF, they're pretty good with multiple layers of coupons, instant savings, sales, and ITC deals at convincing people they're going to get a best ever price, but yeah it's basically the same rotating set of deals. If you miss something and don't need it right away, just wait a while and that price will come back. As far as this August parking lot sale goes, I think some of the Icon hand tool stuff (40% off ratchets, mini ratchet/bit set $25, Icon Anti-slip combo wrenches at $70) will be at all-time low prices or close to it. But the Bauer 2-pack of 3Ah batteries at $80 seems like a joke, they're running 2-pack of *5Ah* for $80 right now!

I went in a few times the last week or so to grab some clearance items, clearance prices plus 40% off is tough to beat. The plan was to stock up on stuff like bits, multi tool blades, etc. It ended up I made 4 pretty decent purchases (I think, at least ). Last week I picked up a Chicago Electric 9 amp D handle drill, a Chicago Electric 12 amp, 7 1/4 inch circular saw and the Chicago Electric 7 amp corded 1/2 inch impact (all as backup tools). All 3 tools were marked as $24.99 on clearance, then you add the 40% off dropped them down to less than $15 a piece. Then yesterday, I saw a Pittsburgh 3 ton low profile jack on the “as is” pile. I asked the manager if he had any insider info on it, he didn’t, he said it was sent back from the regional headquarters I guess? They didn’t open it. My plan was to get one at the parking lot sale for $95, this one was marked as $106 but I got the 40% off of that too. Came out to $60. It ended up being in great shape, you could tell the steel wheels were rolled around a floor a bit but other than that, all the welds, bolts, parts, etc were like new. I tested it several times on my F250 yesterday, no issues. Long story short, I ended up getting a like new 3 ton low profile floor jack, corded drill, corded impact wrench and a corded circular saw all for around $105. I know the CE line isn’t the cream of the crop but for my DIY needs, I think I made out exceptionally well.

I was so excited then disappointed that you didn’t need to open it. I removed all six screws and it opens a bit but something keeps the top from coming off on that model. Can’t figure it out and may break it more forcing it.
