I like this song, and i'm searching this song for how many times, but I don't know the title so I failed😅 but thanks to google I just hmm the tune and I found it😅
Aahhh..... the 1980s, the greatest decade in human history. Iconic music, fashion, movies, technology and everything about life per se. Good times. Better days. Nostalgic. Long live Gen X! Greetings of peace and love from the Philippines.....
I like the quick images of weapons at the end -- it gives the implication that we're all doing a "safety dance" by partying and dancing as if it wards off the constant knowledge that today could be the last day before some idiot starts a nuclear war. And trust me, if you grew up during the era this song was written in, and you had at least a few functioning brain cells, that knowledge was always somewhere in the back of your mind.
What's crazy to me is as a kid we made fun of this song. Now that modern music is so depressing we're digging out the up beat songs from back in the day. This is now my go to cheer up song.
I'm guessing that this song will play at the Democratic National Convention this year in Chicago and the "Safety Dance" there will involve everyone in High Level HazMat Suits and dancing at least 6 feet apart 🤣
Curious how many non-Canadians understand the Bonhomme reference in the lyrics (and appearance in the video - the big snowman with the black tophat)? Bonhomme is the ambassador / mascot of the Québec Winter Carnaval in Québec City.
This moronic song has been in my head for a month just from a vague memory. This group of people must face justice for this atrocity on mankind. I fear i will never recover. I'm making a go fund me: give me money and go lick what ti wanna, you can leave your friends behind.
Moving my entire body to the musical rhythm retro music dance. From my skill taught choreography and sexy style baby girl dance. 🤗
バモニッポンから来ました!勉強がんばります!🇯🇵

I cant believe Rolling Stone named this song top ten WORST of the 80s!! I loved this song❤
I was just thinking they should remake this video with Tyrion Lannister, John Snow and Daneris Targaryen
I wonder what the song "Fire Water Burn" by the Bloodhound Gang would sound if sang to the tune of this song/in the voice of this singer.

I’m here because my 5 year old was dancing and said “dad, you can dance if you want to.” Memory triggered.

As long as we're not forced to listen to Taylor Swift or the like, i think we'll be fine.
