The process is very similar to installing and using DeskMate with DoxBox-X (itself on Linux), but DM runs fine on MS-DOS v6.22, no need that I see to install and load DOS v3.3 even if DosBox-X supports it. The only issue is that DosBox-X changes over to using output "surface" rather than my much preferred "ttf", so I can only use DM in a little tiny console window rather than my normal full screen. Other than that, good times using dusty old user interfaces! I've always wondered if Tandy ever released an SDK for DM and what their preferred development environment was, it would be fun writing "new" apps for it for schitz 'n giggles.

You download them... then you insert them into the VM like the virtual floppy drives they are and switch to the A drive.

Probably some sort of problem with keyboard settings. I had someone else come to me with the same problem and it turns out that they needed to fiddle with keyboard settings. You could try VirtualBox's soft keyboard and see how that works.

What OS are you using? If it's Windows 10, then it should work exactly how I showed you in the video. (Yes, I was using Windows 10, as you can see in the bottom-right corner, just above the taskbar.)

@@Chicken-nuggets-plays-roblox You should be able to mount the virtual hard drive in Windows 11. I don't see why you shouldn't. Just locate the virtual hard drive file and either double-click it or post the file path into the Explorer address bar as shown in the video. It should mount just like a USB or CD. Though if that's not possible in Windows 11... you may have to use ImDisk...

the mouse is broken i use nvidia btw 1920x1080 moniter and virtualbox 7.0 also i got windows 3.1 no problems with working mouse so?

Well, did you try using the modified Windows 1 installation floppies I provided? Also, what type of CPU are you using? I recently found out that AMD CPUs can be rather problematic with emulating older versions of Windows.

@@oliverlumiere.4452 Well, you can simply open System Information, which would outright say whether you have Intel or AMD. Or, if there is a CPU sticker on your computer, it should tell you what sort of CPU it has.
