The military firearms produced for the government of the Third Reich are generally recognized as being some of the finest of the Second World War. On the one hand that is certainly true when you consider German innovations like the general purpose machine gun, the intermediate cartridge, and the roller delayed blowback operating system. But when the demand for resources began to outpace the ava...
Shooting the French Pistolet Automatique Modèle 50 - aka the "MAC-50"

Here's a short video of shooting a French Pistolet automatique de 9mm modèle 1950 - also known as the "MAC-50" because it was first made by "MAC" (Manufacture d'armes de Châtellerault) but then eventually it was also made by MAS (Manufacture d'armes de Saint-Étienne). This particular example was made in the first Saint-Étienne production block probably in 1970 & it was recently imported into th...

Crazy quiet
Is this footage from the What on Earth episode when you found the huge ship in the middle of the desert!? That was amazing!
Yes indeed it is! I shot this when we were there filming for the show in August 2008.
Was that black powder you used in the ignition charge or was it smokeless?
Thank you , enjoyed it . Jun 1969 onboard a MAC Charter flight from Travis AFB to Kadena AFB the plane circled Iwo Jima for a bit so passengers could see it .
i love the way those sound in the air
Where did they get the Ammo?
How is the reliability? What kind of 22LR does it run with?
Hey can you give me email noahbg02@gmail.com I have some questions about your rifle and would love to get in contact with you
My grandmother, Paula Dicke Siekmann is buried there. She was a missionary wife from Germany and died giving birth to her daughter, Paula Siekmann in 1914. My father, Dr. Gene Siekmann was born there in 1912. He went on to become a Pastor in the United States, where we (his family) now live.
I would be interested in hearing from others with a similar historical background. I am the granddaughter of Paula and Frederick Siekmann, missionaries in the early 1900's in Okahandja. I now live in Scottsdale, Arizona. My email address is paulasvalle@hotmail.com
more of this please!
4.2in big sexy😃
If possible I would really love to hear the vz61 silenced without the 22LR kit. I'm considering buying one right now, not sure if I want to get 32 ACP or 380 ACP. Either way I will be running a silencer, I'm guessing the 32 will probably be quieter even through a 9 mm silencer
USAF retired...spent 5 1/2 years on The Rock (1984-89, 43rd Supply Sq, Fuels Management Branch, for historical record) this brought back a lot of memories, especially at this time of year. My family camped on CE Beach Christmas Eve and we decorated the tree. It was a great spot to camp and we usually had the whole beach with an occasional surf caster or two. I put out the presents after the kids fulfilled their part of family tradition by going to sleep. I'd stay up all night with a flashlight, fishing rod and beer in hand, protecting the presents from coconut crabs...well, that's what I told the the wife and kids, anyway. Thank you for the footage. Happy Holidays to you and your family.
Thus answering the age old question "Who's a good boy?"
Dad was in an 81mm mortar crew with the 48AIB 7th AD firong WW2.
That “whirrirririririri” noise it makes ( how would you describe that noise )
What a cool island! Are there actually sharks there? I love the slow motion :) thank you for sharing your footage!
Yes! The story goes that the sharks will enter the bay & prowl around the island because there are penguins on the two other islands in the bay. I don't think you made it to Lüderitz during your Namibia trip, but I highly recommend it if you should ever return. Shark Island has a bit of a dark history from the German colonial period, but still it is a great place to visit & you can even camp there too. I give it two thumbs up!
@@midway512 The one island at 23 seconds is Penguin Island. There's another one behind that one called Seal Island. Now, there aren't seals or penguins on those islands, they can be found on Halifax Island and Diaz Point.
Can I get a copy of this video ? A 2 ;28 is a picture of US 326, MY DAD WAS ON THAT SHIP. I also have a picture of the US 326 on the beach dated , Omaha Beach D+6 France June 6-- 44
I would be happy to send the video to you as well as a high resolution scan of that photograph Andy. Where should I send them?
Thank you for the reply. My e/mail add., is ( andygeisssr@gmail.com) . This is greatly appreciated and will be added to our family tree research . If you would like I will send you a pic of D+6. Again many thanks. Andrew w Geiss Sr.
Did you receive the images I sent you via e-mail?
Yes thank you. Did the Navy/Coast Guard have more than one ship with that number?
Thank You! I enjoyed that.
Looks cool man. what kind of ammo are you running through her?
Where can you get subsonic ammo for 300 blackout?
Pretty awesome!
So Sad... Never got a chance to meet my Uncle Tony...
That is sad indeed. I have spent over a decade learning about him & the violent way that his life ended & he seems like he was an excellent person. Have you seen my 10:00 minute video about the Hémevez Massacre?
cyclic rate changed just smidge too huh?
I wonder exactly how loud it is with each. I also wonder whether you could shoot suppressed supers indoors without ruining your situational awareness.
Fitted with the conical M9 flash hider, I would go so far as to say it is one of my all time favourites!
where can i find 22 subsonic tracers?
I would totally go inside
Well now... if that isn't the closest thing to the definition of gun porn , then I don't know what is... lol
Awesome Just subbed the channel !
These are almost too much fun to shoot!
Does that rifle have a WW2 era serial number?
As an older tanker I love than rifle.
Way to loud. You can make your own suppressor for less than 25$ in less than hour much more slient !
Oh man, this machine gun is wonderful! Please make some BAR shooting video! lol
NICE! that belt whip is pretty fantastic......just a sign of the single feed pawl but still! I would hat to get whacked by it.
Very nice Marty! Really low signature sound supressor.
Awesome!
That was CUTE!

WTF!!! NO EARS!!!???

That brand of ammo was that? I deffinately want to get some to try.
They allow that? It kind of surprises me, but that's a neat souvenir to have from there.
