The super special stacked SI (can not remember the official name for this technique) minimizes the bump created by stacking mesh diamonds on top of one another. This variation was...
Triple Bottom String Tutorial
zhlédnutí 234Před 9 lety
Matt from @midwestlacrossestrings demonstrates how to use one string to create a triple-loop bottom string. This bottom string is more elaborate than necessary from a purely functional point of view. However, it does hold the mesh in place very well, and looks really nice as well. For that reason, we decided to share it with you. Enjoy!

Goalie Throat String Tutorial: Single Loop
zhlédnutí 11KPřed 9 lety
Matt from @midwestlacrossestrings demonstrates how to tie a very simple, effective, and popular throat string for a goalie stick. We like to use a shooting string for the throat string on goalie sticks because it is easier on the mesh than sidewall string, causing the mesh to last longer.
Goalie Sidewall Tutorial: 12 Diamond Mesh in a Nemesis Lyte
zhlédnutí 15KPřed 9 lety
Matt from @midwestlacrosse strings demonstrates how to tie a simple sidewall for a Nemesis using 12-diamond mesh. This sidewall pattern produces a deep pocket with just enough channel to provide proper control, and also to have a very true throw/release. Channel in goalie sticks is a complicated subject, but it is more important to have a deep pocket that throws well than to have a crazy tight ...

Very helpful, keep it coming!
Impossible to follow
There's a bunch of ways to do your bottom string. I personally like to loop it to make a circle.
Lucky that I have nemesis
odd ball question. what's the reason that you put a "removable" string with the leathers at the top? is it just to make it easier to remove the pocket at some point? or does it serve some other benefit? just curious because i usually don't use a string there; i put the leathers directly in their slots at the top of the head.... thanks!
Thanks for this one...this Evo X is a challenge to string a decent channel with, but this pattern looks like one I can manage and will do the trick. Thanks for sharing!
I am definitely going to use this, I am trying to learn how to string goalie heads
this cat sure likes his SI's lol
If you want a better channel pull down the diamonds where you want the channel to be. And if you want the same deep pocket just finish pulling down the sidewalls with a 1.
