Thanks for your videos, I had a total hysterectomy recently but had to make quick decisions about whether to keep ovaries etc … I didn’t have much information so glad you are posting these and putting this information out there.

I found that Utrogestan taken orally keeps me awake! I was expecting a sedative effect, but instead I wake up at 2 am and cannot get back to sleep. I feel totally wired on this drug.

thank you! as a trans woman, this has helped me regain my fertility and my mood has come back to my pretransition levels :D recommend to any transwoman who is suffering from low libido and mood. for me my t levels were 0.3ng/dL and that is below the normal levels for a cis woman which are 0.5-3ng/dL and i think 5-15 in cis men. by applying only to my area, i can localise the androgenisation to that area and my transition continues elsewhere in my body, so i get all the benefits of transitioning and all the benefits of having a working reproductive system :DD love it

I have been on ovestin cream 1% for two years it changed my life for the better VA and bladder atrophy was ruining my life but the company have changed it to estriol 1% and it's not the same I'm back with VA and bladder atrophy again 😢 plus now pink spotting been for an examination from gp I'm red raw !! Also been today for a ultrasound and intravenous probe to be told I need to see a gyne for a d&c scrape !! This is due to the change in the ovestin the company lied saying they only changed the name even my gp agreed there is something off as you cant go from feeling brilliant on it then a month of using just the estirol I'm unwell with it I'm putting this out there for other woman dont be fooled by big pharma companies cutting the cost of making hrt !

I was on ovastin 1% the company changed it to estirol 1% ive had problems ever since !! I was taking the ovastin 1% for 2 years it was like magic for me no bladder pain or VA symptoms they all cleared up on ovastin 1% until the company changed the ingredients saying they only changed the name really!! Since starting the estriol 1% 2weeks ago ive had pink spotting when going for a wee so went to my gp she examined me to see im red raw inside and out!! So dry and sore inside she did a pap test sent me home with more estriol 1% and replens she is sending me for an ultrasound this may be tmi but even going for a number 2 is agony and brings on the spotting my gp said its because the bowel is near the cervix and i must have tiny tares in my cervix causing the spotting but my gp and the pharmacy insists its only the name been changed !! A 😢 woman know there body if its not changed then why am i back to square one? Im so upset at it all its probably big pharma lying again found a cheaper route but im back in agony!! 😢😢😢😢😢 is anyone else finding this now ovastin 1% has been discontinued?

Ok, can you please get pharmaceutical companies to stop putting titanium dioxide into the 'bioidentical' Progesterone tablets please? I would like to take them but not if they've got that excipient in them.

I was having major faffing and worrying about starting as I didnt want to over dose myself but I now feel reassured that I would probably have under dosed. Really appreciated the visual prompt using a coloured cream , very good reference point. Thank you

Can you have low estrogen without a dry vagina? I have never been dry, I’m 56 and it’s not an issue but I have hot flashes all the time

What no one says is that progesterone counters oestrogen dominance which can cause all kinds of chaos . Get your levels measure to see which stage of menopause you’re in , in perimenopause your progesterone drops dramatically compared to oestrogen- you might not need a lot of oestrogen if any

Whenever I have asked drs for it, they say they cant as its not licensed...i think they want us women here to suffer....not really fair 🙄🙄

I'm 71 next month and wonder if it's okay at my age to have the body identical skin gel? My GP Practice tells me it carries the same health risks as regular HRT

I started HRT 4yrs ago, patches didn’t work then founds gel was better but it’s been hit and miss trying to get the best place for good absorbtion. Arms didn’t work, outer thighs didn’t work but buttocks and inner thighs so much better and rubbing it in lightly for me works! 2 x pumps at night and 2 pumps after morning shower. Sadly trying to get off antidepressants as prescribed in perimenopause has been causing me problems, I really believe it has interfered with the HRT and every 6 months I get terrible depression and anxiety back, which has caused me to give up work. Trying to ween off these things is a nightmare!

Family Physician here: The manufacturer advises that it requires a good layer of subcutaneous fat for absorption, so for most women that is the inner thighs. Muscular women and those with very little body fat should avoid the arms altogether. Also, it is meant to be applied lightly to a large surface area and most gynaecologists advise applying with 3 long swipes down each arm or thigh, then let air dry for 4 minutes; it should not be rubbed in. Never rub it in. Use three light sweeps down each arm or thigh for each pump. Pump x1. Swipe, Swipe, Swipe. Let dry. Pump #2 - pick a different arm/leg. Pump x1. Swipe, Swipe, Swipe. Let dry. It builds up a nice layer in the subcutaneous fat so the inner thighs work best for most women. From the Manufacturer: www.estrogel.com/how-to-use-estrogel/ Using your hand, apply EstroGel to the skin of your other arm. Spread the gel as thinly as possible over the entire area on the inside and outside of your arm from your wrist to your shoulder. DO NOT apply EstroGel directly to your breasts or in and around your vagina. DO NOT massage or rub in EstroGel. Allow the gel to dry for up to 5 minutes before you get dressed.

Miss leading instructions! The manufacture insteuctions especifivally says “do not RUB or MASSAGE it!

I found the video very helpful but a little confusing. My GP has told me to take two tables on an evening (I take 4 pumps of gel) but I am feeling like a zombie the next day. In the video Dr Bell said to take 1 tablet which I was previously (when only taking 2 pumps) and although a little tired the next day I would function. May I ask which is correct - is it one tablet over the 28 days or two tablets? thank you for any advice/guidance you can give me

pour the sachet into a syringe and dose it in that way. this method of dosing would be most certain.

This makes me wonder if menopause is actually my issue. I am dealing with mood swings, depression, anxiety, extreme fatigue, etc. But on top of having a hysterectomy, I have to take tamoxifen which further rids my body of estrogen. I can’t take anything to help with the menopause because it could make the cancer come back-however, I think I would rather take the risk of stage 4 cancer (and dying) than dealing with these mental health issues and ideations.

This can make me gain weight? This helps with the hot flashes?
