I have noticed that the latest microphones (not just your brand, which I own one) lack of volume and other controls. Leaving the input level to the camera. But, pre amps in cameras suck. So... why?

Looks all fine and well - until someone moves. The lav under the ski-jacket and under the zipper hoody look, like they would rustle like crazy. I would really love a tutorial in which the subject is doing a walk and talk afterwards or is lifting the arms or something.

It doesn't give me a lot of confidence in Deity when I see they don't know what the correct, legal fequency bands are for some countries, the UK range in this video is wrong and its upper limit is wrong in their app

Both of you are too close to the mic for my taste. And I own a Deity and a 416. Your room is over treated for me anyway, the sound is too muffled.
