An Easy Science Experiment for Kids
This is a fun and simple science experiment for kids! In this video, you'll see how to do a cool activity using just a few things from around the house. Follow along and explore how water can move and mix colors in a really neat way!
Experiment Steps:
Setup:
* Put 5 glasses in a row.
* Fill glasses 1, 3, and 5 halfway with water.
* Add Color: Add a different food color to each of the filled glasses (e.g., Red in glass 1, Green in glass 3, and Blue in glass 5).
* Prepare Serviettes: Fold paper towels and put one end in a filled glass and the other end in an empty glass next to it. Do this for all the glasses, creating a chain.
Watch:
Leave everything still and watch the water move through the paper towels to the empty glasses.
* After a while, you’ll see the water traveling from the filled glasses to the empty ones.
* The colors will mix in the middle glasses, making new colors and a beautiful display.
What We Learned:
This experiment shows how water can move through the fibers of the paper towels from one glass to another. It's a fun way to learn about how liquids move and how colors mix together in a really cool way.
Watch the video to see the whole process and the awesome results!
