Did a similar trip years ago with a buddy going from WNC to Idaho. Spent a week on the Big Hole and the Madison catching big rainbows and browns. It was fantastic. Caught a few in the Black Hills also. Drove Chief Joseph pass at midnight dodging deer and elk for miles.
