I tried to order the other version off eBay a few years ago- some huckster sent me a soundbox, sent my figure to Canada, and I never got a refund or apology or anything. I saw this at a local collectible store called Astro Zombies (Albuquerque) for about $20, and I decided to pick it up. I'm happy to finally have a figure from the movie, even though it's not what I tried to get years ago.

The 80's gave us My Bloody Valentine, Child's Play, Fright Night, Dead and Buried and Night of the Creeps.

If you want to know how to pronounce Carl Laemmle's name, just watch Frankenstein. It's literally the first line of the film. ("Mr. Carl Laemmle feels it would be a little unfair...") To me, it sounds like "LEM-lee." Since Carl hired his relatives a lot, Ogden Nash famously quipped: "Uncle Carl Laemmle has a very large faemmle.")

I really wasn’t aware of how different this was from the TV show Creep figure. I honestly thought it was the same figure repackaged with some new accessories…now I’m dying to get this one! Really fantastic review. NECA should pay you, since you definitely sold me on it! I’d really love to see NECA do some other Creepshow figures, especially “Fluffy” from the crate. Father’s Day and the drowned zombies from Something to Tide You Over would also be incredible. Here’s hoping!
