🚂 Hi, I have the LJ Ross books on my wish list on Borrow Box. I read Holy Island years ago, but didn’t like the end, so when the next books came didn’t read them. I now keep hearing great things as the series has gone on I feel I need to give the series a go, as it’s about the North East.

No I think The mysterious affair at styles was her first published story. As I remember correctly she wrote it back in 1916 but it got published first in 1920. It was serialised in the Times Weekly Edition. The first part was published on 27 February 1920 I’m quite sure of that. I will be starting an Agatha Christie project next month. I intend to read everything she wrote in publication order. I was very surprised that she also wrote a horror story in 1922 that was only published in Australia. Hope I can find that one. She also wrote romance novels under the name Mary Westmacot. Not sure whether I will like those, But I will definitely give them a go.

This was great, loved the scenery snippets you added to the video. I've not read any LJ Ross books. Never been to High Force, but I have though read a book about my area - a nonfiction on the changing of the seasons, and the plant and wildlife to expect to see each season in my area.
