I remember watching a Hubernan lab podcast episode where he casually mentioned rat studies showed rats that were already past fertile age and considered unable to reproduce did reproduce and produce new eggs!! I believe the episode was about diet and nutrition, but I’m not sure.

Wow, so incredibly inspiring! I'm now 45 TTC and have had 1 IVF cycle when I was 44. One egg was retrieved and made it to day 5 blastocyst stage. The day of the FET the doctors were so happy telling me how beautiful my embryo looked I was certain that it was a "healthy" baby. Seven days later had bloodwork done and they told me that the embryo stuck and I was pregnant. Fast forward three days I had another blood test done and my endocrinologist called to tell me that I had a chemical pregnancy. Obviously, I was devastated but I am not giving up hope.

Hi, I am scheduled for transfer but my thyroid peroxide is high (51) my doctor says that I just need to take 10mg of prednisone de first day of the transfer. I honestly don't feel safe doing this. I am waiting for my second opinion this week. I feel like my IVF doctor doesn't care about the outcome of the pregnancy. Should I fix my levels of thyroid peroxide first and then do the transfer? I am 42 years old.
