You’re a legend mate 😂
Hi which one would you recommend for a service only plus small repairs on boilers please, I don’t commute on trains but most of the time carry tool bag plus small steps
To be fair, I'm still using my velocity rouge 4.5 for doing exactly what your asking. If your not to bothered about showing off an expensive bag I would suggest looking fo cheaper options at screwfix or toolstation or maybe even aliexpress.
@@toolporn315 I do have a Stanley fatamax but it’s too big just to carry small amount of tools and analyser
How about tightening a nut with it, ffs?!
First not so great review ive heard of this bag. Cheers given me some honest advice. Changing bags my zips are breaking on my stanley bag so looking at a new bag
They are not that reliable. The ignition fails after a while. If you've had one for 15 years that's good going. I get about 2 years out of mine. I have at least 6 old ones in my garage. Just brought a Nerrad Fire Jet. Cool tip with a brass connection. The body of the Superfire 2 is made from diecast metal, and thread wears out if you continuously remove the bottle. Also the Superfire as a repair/ refurb kit. But if you can get all those grub screws out to do the repair that's another story.
I got the “PB” bag a while ago. After disappointment I shelved it with a view to return and never got round to it. I have just tried it again and reached the same conclusion. It is over priced and undersized considering it is a substantial bag. Kane analyser probe dose not sit nicely, the pockets are tight and all the pouches can not be fully used and allow the bag to zip up with ease. CK Magma is a little bit wider but not as tall, takes all my kit with ease and is easy to get what I need and is half the price. Thinking about it, it’s actually a rip off! Rogue is a apt name!
Do you think it would hold a harness, helmet, impact driver and waterproofs? Quite a squeeze with the 15L version.
Have the same stanley fatmax, is this bag better?
In terms of build quality it is better, but! It's quite heavy and the compartments are cramped, fully loaded with all my gear for servicing and breakdowns it's almost 13kg, I don't really use it now as its too heavy to commute with and have actually switched back to the fatmax, and the fatmax is much more comfortable too. In my opinion, save your cash and stay with fatmax or an equivalent. Think dewalts new rucksack is due soon apparently so may look int that one.
@@toolporn315do you know what the new dewalt rucksack is called?
not a bad bag for the price only problem ive noticed is with bigger tools than just screwdrivers and snips bag seems to sag as the middle pocket isn't protected
I subscribed without even watching the first video… genius Chanel name 🤩
Mine broke bought a rip of version like they sell in plumb centre off Amazon 24 quid instead of 70
Hi...I have to take the tourch off all the time when is not in use?Can you explain please why? What the problem is?Many thanks
I've got the same Stanley bag. Exactly the same issue as you. Plus my bag is so crowded it is a pain everytime I open something. Plus the front falls over. I've been looking to get the rogue 4.5, but I just can't get myself to pull the trigger on a £170 tool bag Oh also the zip tags broke off my Stanley bag after a couple weeks. But I just put keyring rings on them.
I love how specific you are about what should go into each pocket! 🤣
Was looking for a good way to open box so I can reuse it for storing the torch, but can't see a good way. Good video and clear. Leaving your fly open for the world to see... Priceless 🤣
Zip broke during an emergency, lol. I just keep the tourch in my soldering box, seem pretty bullet proof
I looking to get one but now I'm looking to reconsider.... buts what's the equivalent or upgrade? Anit seen one like this in the veto range.
As a rucksack bag it is pretty bad and uncomfortable to use, strange as it may seem I have a rouge 4.5 and it serves me well be it a little compact but the best backpack tool bag I had was one of the standley fatmax ones, just because it's expensive doesn't always mean it's the best
Nice ToolPorn!
Great review mate. Im guessing your ex BG from half the tools youve got in that bag 😂
😊👍
You know it. Lol
Decent vid mate 👍🏻
Just bought one. 79 quid with a mapp gas. Of ebay. Cant wait! Good video mate.
£109 from Screwfix wtf.. £55 ebay with discount code wow
Check out veto bags
How you finding it now
I got the bag a few weeks ago, I like the bag but it’s quite big and I find it quite heavy empty and especially loaded. Part of me wished I got the 4.5 now🧐
Got the blue one 👍🏻
I'm wondering, are you guys allowed to use digital manometers over there? Or do you have to use the big liquid filled manometers? That's all I ever see any of you guys carrying.
We can, I have one built into my FGA, I'm just old school
I use a digital manometer and have for over 10years .
My fid lock buckles have never worked loose and Ime rocking a heavy rogue 5 backpack ?
Interesting.
When the fid lock is in lateral strain it’s impossible to undo on its own
@@allandewar must be just a defect with mine
Nice honest review. Thanks
Paying for the name. No wonder pb is wacking these out.
Glad you like the pump!
I think it's an awesome little tool, having used it for a while now there is one small change I'd make. But other than that thumbs up👍
Back pack straps ruined it and looks crappy with all that Velcro when not using the straps… unusable small pockets on the back pack side! Shame coz the size and inside looks spot on!
To be fair I wasn't convinced when it turned up but the pockets have given a bit now and I'm currently using it as my van service bag without the shoulder straps. I use the rogue 4.5 when I'm using public transport in cities.
Still not sold on it. Lol
Proper honest review of the PB bag, I’m a huge fan of PB but I had my reservations about this service bag and they have been proven in this video. I’ll stick with Veto for now……
Check my follow up review, it may change your mind as it did mine.
This aint a bad bag for the money ive been using this bag for last 2 years when i travel on the trains. Yes you are right it does get heavy when fully loaded out. Great review thanks
The stanley was obviously never used ...
On and off for a bit, now sits empty.
@@toolporn315 when you get a decent bag they always sit empty, veto man myself. Despite the cost they last compared to the cheaper brands
How long does it take to get to 1bar from flat?
Love this colour with this form factor, Casio should have came out with a neon pink and Orange version too.
Like the reviews, it good to hear the opinion of someone other then an installer. As for a tablet I use a fire 10HD tablet. I was able install Google play with the help of a article on the Internet.
i recommend the new samsung rugged tablets. i just bought the samsung active 3 8.0 version. and it h heavy duty tablet with pen for getting signatures.
Didn't know it existed, i do now, looking into it. Ta
It's a good bag, backpack feature is nice when you're trekking up flights of stairs or have a fair walk to a job but they're a faff otherwise. I found same issue with the grab handle and the clip almost smashing things. Got it originally to replace my fathers old bag for gas servicing but he's one that carries way too much in a bag so by the time it's loaded with what he wants it's a good 15-20kg as it's 6-7kg empty. I would suggest getting a shoulder strap though it works so much better with it.
I like the fold down storage areas but that is it .for me its unfinished not developed as well as it.could of been.the backpack part is terrible and cheap and centre part has nothing going on .mine is ba k in the box and for sale
Hi I have just got this 9.0 bag i won in a raffle. Currently use a veto blackout back pac. Found the backpack bit heavy so thaught I would like this bag but ime realy not sure or impressed .I think it could do with abit more refinement and the middle section re thinking.might sell the bag on as its not better than I already have
Still selling the bag?
I’ve just bought this bag as an electrician. Also removed that big block from the middle. Completely useless 🤣
Let us know how you get on.
Can you tell me what multimeter do you use?
Its a LAP MS8212A.
Nice thanks for this video , just put me away to buy the bag. Any way just gote the 5.0 version
The 9.0 is well built that's for sure, but there is alot to it that's been put inside and in the front section it is very cramped. I do like the back section though especially the fur lined pockets
Funny enough I had a 6.0 version but I sold it for reason getting to bulky with only the essential tools. Yes now I gote 2.0 and 5.0 hope they will work out for my needs
@@fanyeros123 I was thinking of getting a 2.0 again just for testing gear.
I like it
I bought this watch as well. The color is so well done.
Vibe alarm is not written on face, unlike gbx-100. Will it wake most people ? Strong vibration ?
I'm a heavy'ish sleeper, and this does wake me up.
@@toolporn315 Thank you! Good review and this was just the exact info I needed! :)
@@toolporn315 How long is the Vibration alarm? Does it have a snooze feature?
@@toolporn315 Oh, and does it have a low battery indicator? I wonder how long the battery will last with/without bluetooth connection ...
@@mariuszsch.79 Still going strong, no issues yet, I use it most days
2 mins until you actually show the watch. Hurry it up man
Wow, you could of boiled an egg.🤣
@@toolporn315 just a bit of advice
On reddit they're saying that the strap can easily be broken because of the way it is mounted to the case (with a thin connection) true or not?
I'd say not true, this watch feel very strong.
