Plotted revenge
One of my favorite cop shows
The father Vashon wanted McGarrett dead after killing his son
Pena que não tem dublado em português.
I was going up an elevator in El Paso one time when I was a kid As I opened the elevator to get in, a man steps out of the elevator with metal hook arms. It took me a minute to realize who that was...it was the one and only JJ Armes aka "Hookman"...😮😮😯 I wish I could've taken a pic or at least talked with him. But that was way before phone cameras existed...🙄
@@victorramosjr2239 Thanks for sharing.🤙
Kam Fong. Classy, real deal tough guy and gentleman. This is a powerful scene.
@@Kingofallfunnelheads Thanks for watching.🤙
Best cop show ever!!!!
Yeah ya!🤙
Jack Lord was a great actor n a handsome devil who kept his looks n fitness well into his 60s
McGarretts office is timelessly iconic. I like seeing Wo Fat and the Vachons seated like hoodlums in there.
there was also a 4th episode where the father is in prison

"It's never free honey"
I lived on Oahu when "Hawaii Five-0" was filmed! My Dad was an Officer and Pilot in The USAF and we lived on Hickam AFB which sits across the bay from Pearl Harbor. Me and my siblings got to meet Jack Lord at a Luau down on Ft. Derussy Beach next to Waikiki Beach! He was so nice to me and my siblings and genuinely chatted with us for 20 or so minutes till he had to go meet other people! My older sister was absolutely smitten with "Steve-O" and me and my brothers teased her unmercifully for weeks! 😂 As an older Adult Kid I also enjoyed watching "Magnum PI" mainly to see parts of The Island but I ended up digging that show too! Aloha From COW-lumbus, Ohio back on The Mainland! 🤙 Hang Loose Bruddah Steve
Hey! Just opened my phone and your message came through. TY for sharing this with me. Can I ask if I can post it on my H50 FB page? We’re always looking for positive postings with regard to Jack. Aloha backattcha from the Isle of Long (Long Island, NY).🤙
@@JLFan100 Of Course Bruddah! Mahalo
Great episode, love how Mc Garrett plays "chess' with the thief, before his "checkmate!" The two episode with Hume Croyn were excellent! He was in the movie "Cocoon" in the mid 1980's, as well.
Corner of Makaloa and Poni
@@cvpi0539 Thank you.🤙
Chin was a great guy
Having just watched this two parter again. It's a great episode. And the chemistry between Linville and Lord was amazing. Both great actors.
Bald head, portly, raspy voice, and sweaty face makes a great villain.
Jack, lord, Charles Bronson, Steve, McQueen, and David Hedison we’re all my favorites. Again, thanks for this upload and love from all of us on Staten Island, New York.
@@user-fu9uj7gr4u It was Clint Eastwood and Mike Connors for me. 🤙from L.I.
I fell in love with Jack Lord, when I was only 14 years old I didn’t like the show I liked him very tall and very handsome. Imagine falling in love with a man older than your own father why had gotten him for a husband when I was 18 in 1972 it would’ve made me feel like I won the New York State lottery thanks for this upload and love from all of us on Staten Island, New York
Wow, it was 17 for me. I too fell for him (I’m female) and have always been crazy about him, even to this day. He had looks and brains. My dad was only a couple of years older, but I certainly get what you’re talking about. Please enjoy the videos, and don’t forget to subscribe.🤙
I watch the show when it’s first run September 26, 1968 until 1980. It was my favorite show. Thanks for this upload you guys love from all of us on Staten Island New York.
Glad to hear of another long-time fan. Please consider joining the FB group, ‘Hawaii Five-0 1968-1980’, if you haven’t already. 🤙From Long Island.
Ed Flanders appeared on Hawaii Five-0 Season 3 and Season 6
Season 3 of the original Hawaii Five-0 1970-71
One may think that the one parallel to this would be "The Godfather" series.
Honestly, what man in his right mind would go by the Street name Big chicken . Must be out of his clucking mind 😅😅😅
The title of the episode is correct, but the description is not. "Rest in Peace, Somebody" was a fourth season episode in which a disgruntled person threatens someone close to McGarrett. It did not involve Lewis Avery Filer (Hume Cronyn), who appeared in two far more whimsical episodes, a Season 3 outing entitled "Over Fifty? Steal" and its sequel, "Odd Man In," which was also broadcast during Season 4, but four episodes after this one. I will add that I absolutely adore the opening 50 seconds or so of this episode, which has a lovely, slow-paced instrumental version of Morton Stevens' main theme music as McGarrett drives to Five-O headquarters and lets himself into the outer office; as far as I know, it was never used again.
Thank you for letting me know of this mistake. It has been deleted and will be updated soon.
Nice to see the old style cash registers. Some things should never change.....(sigh)
Those sunglasses of Jack's recall his part in "Dr. No". He could sure rock a pair of sunglasses!
Nice to see Mark Lenard playing in a more relaxed role than Sarek of Vulcan! Great actor and diretor.
This won't be the last time we'll see this character Wo Fat until the end of the final season of the show
Also did an episode with the modern Hawaii Five O episode with Peter Weller as the sniper.
Damn I miss old telephones that you don't "have to" carry around like some friggen dog collar 😢
🤣🤣🤣
😆😆😆
This is like the famous last scene of Lord of War.
I liked the newer series, however you can't beat the original 1968-80 series.
Davidr4523 the nice cars and suits made it special, the crap reboot had two guys in shorts and flipflops playing on laptops.classless, glad its gone.
Don't submit to interrogations.
Never seen Steve so dirty
The cars❤
Best ever episode.the final scene, and the book em was brilliant!!! Didnt steal a cent???
We need MORE McGarretts in law enforcement today
Awesome chess move by Wo Fat!♟️
Jack lord was a ❤ man
The épisodes Guest starring Hume Cronyn : I love ! 😎
"Get some rest Brudda..." ---McGarrett....ouch
Pretty yellow dress, lol.
McGarrett: "Book yourself, Danno!"
Man, I didn’t even recognize Tom Skerritt. I recall watching this episode, though, and pegging his character as the killer before the first commercial.
It had to be him, there were no other extras. Thanks for watching.🤙
Before Mary Tyler Moore and The Love Boat
Oh yeah!
As always Nancy Wilson looks radiant. Nancy had some serious acting talent similar to her singing performances. I would have loved to seen her movie screen in larger roles.
Nice play of McGarrett! The fool woman couldn't stand a chance!
