You mentioned Angie's phrasing. Through these early years, she developed an incredible talent for phrasing ... often departing from originals and adding more emotion in her renditions. She will go "off beat" at times and sing lines as one would speak them, making the song more relatable.

Each time Angelina sings a song she is able to do it a little better, further perfecting every little nuance.

If this was in 2015 , she was 9. She don't look like 10 yo. Interesting how English speaking people refer to different accents of certain words of Angelina and how that words sound normal to me. Maybe its because Angelina was used to her Norwegian accent and English is also not my native language .

I love watching rehearsals and seeing the work taking place before my eyes. Seems that fog was a little too strong for one poor guy! Angelina as always lords it over everything. Thank you Aron as always, her tone and character/ personality voice is already here my favourite voice of all time and you hear her storytelling ability now she is for me the greatest storytelling artist of all time she has always loved Sinatra , you will get to her Jazzy Christmas live stream at 15 yrs old , from Republic Records , Rob Christie who has been her pianist on quite a few songs and her mentor ( although he did say once sometimes I think she is mentoring me) got a stellar band for her of legends who have played for all the greats , there is a chat together where she is given the highest praise not just for her giant talent , but Sinatra's drummer and base player for many years told her that they were blown away by her natural storytelling ability , and said Sinatra once said " I never let a song get in the way of my storytelling" in comparison of her. The live stream itself is the greatest Jazzy Christmas ever and she was only 15 yrs old it is the go to Christmas concert until she does a new one.💜💜💜👣💜💜💜

She seems to have been born with her ability to play with the timing. It comes naturally to her. She’s been doing it since she was on NGT. Her genius level of perfect jazz timing as a child. Sometimes ahead of the beat, sometimes behind it. Whatever she’s feeling in the moment. That’s probably why she asks her accompanists to “just follow me”.

Angelina turns a new musical page age 10..you’re about to experience some performances that beggar belief..her growth aged 10 to 11 is scary! I hope I’m still around when you get to I’m Still Holding Out For You aged 10..

The gentlman doing the intro is David Foster, a giant producer (and pretty darn good piano player). This was his birthday celebration at Mandalay Bay. As he said he produced Josh Groban's version of this song. I find the lines about veins particularly touching, since Enrico Caruso died of sepsis, a form of blood poisoning. Lara's mom Lulu was Italian, and spoke Italian, which is why that is one of her favorite languages.

One bigg difference I noticed in this performance is her use of vibrato and how long she holds the end notes in each phrase in the introduction .... and yes, she has such a kind and empathic soul that it just melts your heart

I was told that Lucio Dalla himself, after hearing this performance, said that she made it her song and this is the best version he has heard from it. For Lara, this song is really important as this is a kind of anthem for Italy, and she is so much connected to this country. She spent the first few years of her life there with her sicilian mother and grandma. Italian is her first native language. Her husband is also sicilian. She also has been living there for the past few months since the end of 2022.

Just FYI, the official music videos on St. Anger songs are edited down compared to the album versions. The ending for instance that you really liked lasts almost a full minute on the album version. Maybe for future songs look the lyric videos rather than the music videos. With Death Magnetic they didn't do this but the music videos have horrible production.
